How to replace your cabin air filter in your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee in under 3 minutes. You can buy the filter here: amzn.to/3Aq2647 I get small commissions from items purchased through these affiliate links.
Update: Changed my filter today. Mine is not like this. Maybe because it's an 80th Anniversary Edition? No tab on top. Mine had two tabs (one on each side) and the cable was on on the right side, but same type of operation to remove/reattach. Filter door itself had a different "squeeze tab" to open, plus a 2nd tab in the middle to push before the door came off. Right side was a hinge feature, but door was completely removeable.
That is not the filter that fits my vehicle. This is for OE # 68079487AA. Any idea what after-market filter is for OE # 68542125AA? Why are there 2 different filters for this vehicle???
The shape is thicker and the length is longer i ordered it from rockauto by the number suggestion from Amazon and it seems to be half an inch longer than the original. Also the thickness from the OEM and the 24017XP is different as well. Hope I'm explaining that correctly. I appreciate your feedback truly.
@@dfiggs915 I’m sorry to hear this. The engine air filter is also hard to cross reference on this vehicle. I’m not sure what’s going on. I shared the Amazon link based on their catalog. And now I’m seeing that numerous people found the same thing you have. I’m very confused.
@@JoesCarSmartsNY yes it's strange I went to all my local auto parts store and they also kept showing me the ticker and longer one. Doesn't look at all like the OEM part. Hopefully I can find one in the next few months. My jeep only has 9k miles so I just cleaned the OEM for now
