Whoa... you already removed the cover for access to the drain plug... I needed that info. I've got mine jacked up and am very ready with everything needed but.... Because, my 2013 CR-V LX AWD with 5 speed transmission ... iI couldn't see the access panel... in plain sight... because I was looking way too far under the car. I saw the oil change access panel and took it off... guess what no transmission plug there. For those of you who may need to know... this transmission plug panel is directly in front of the car and the under cowl. It's easily visible just by looking under the car, no need to crawl under it. Of course you need to get under there to loosen it and all that. It's way in the front part of the cowl.
Just want to say this is not applicable on my '09 Suburban LTZ. There are only 25 pins on the brown connector, no blue/brown wire, plus I probed the entire brown connector and none of the pins worked.
I put the negative back together just like you showed in video put tried to start car heard a tick from battery then no power at all.Can someone help me
The problem is the egr passages in that rear valve cover underneath the egr valve get plugged just like the egr valve. Even if you replace the valve, the passages are still blocked. You have to remove the valve cover and Soak/clean it or replace it. Also need to do a chemical engine flush to break down all the buildup in the engine and do more frequent oil changes to also help prevent build up. Valvolines new Restore and Protect oil is probably the best option for these, or an oil additive to every oil change to prevent carbon buildup.
@@jakehamilton8544 If you’re talking about the clip at the top, I found that is the easiest way. The clips will help hold the strut while you work on the rest of reassembly. Also, it could be tough to clip them later. Although, once it’s all down and the car back on the ground I would check those clips again to make sure they’re secure.
My daughter ran over a monster pothole which snapped the sway bar link. Ever since, I could hear and feel a revolving sound that matches the speed of the wheel. Can't tell if it is the bearing or the axle. Does not hum or groul.
I ended up redoing the wiring on my Civic and ran two more ground straight to the negative post. Is it okay for the sensor to be in between just one of the grounds? Or is it going to chop the current that it reads into 1/3 that way?
Joe - thank you for the video and for sharing you knowledge. I have a camper that I need to find an ignition wire that is energized when the key is on. As you can imagine, the camper is a rats nest of wire. I know where the fuse is at that provides power to the ignition. Will the tool you are using work in this instance? As I see it I could remove the fuse and attach the tone generator to both sides of the fuse connection. Then I should be able to use the probe to trace the wire. Do I have this right? Thank you. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the not long instructions. How many NS-3 bottles are needed for the 2019 Nissan Rogue? P.S Also thank you for the links provided with video.
Great job. Been working on my driver side taillight not working. All pins look good. Replaced the old junction board for previous problems. Don't have wiring diagram. Kidda stuck.
Wow!! Thanks so much for sharing this! You are fearless for showing us process of discovery as you figure out how to do this on the fly. I'm going to attempt this on a 2016 CRV and this video was a great help
Perfect video for my 2016 CR-V. I did have a tougher time removing the arm after the nut was off though. I had to use a screwdriver between the arm and boot with a rag on the boot side, to pry while pulling but it popped off. I wanted to make sure I could remove it before ordering a new one. However, after putting the old one back on, it started working good again. It's probably just temporary but at least next time, since I lubricated everything, it will be a very easy process thanks to you,
Do you have any experience on replacing a chrome strip above a window on chrysler 200 ? 2016 limited being specific! It is giving me quite the time. Appreciate viewing your work here
