Nice video, I just bought one but it does have the CarPlay it’s just weird you can only use it if you’re charging your phone

Thank you for the comment. Awesome on your purchase. I agree the UConnect4 only has wired Apple CarPlay. Im hearing that UConnect5 has wireless Apple CarPlay. (To appear on 2022 models). Game changer.

Decent rebates on them now too, close to 5 grand. I am looking at them now with the tow package as that comes with the full sized spare, HD cooling and better alternator. Every one i see in the lots have the tow pack. I have a 1996 GC 5.2 for a second vehicle and have a buyer for it. I looked at a 2015 Laredo with 43,000 miles and that was 20 grand and sold AS-IS even with a clean carfax, might just make sense to buy new?

With 2021 being the final year of the WK2 & to make room for the new WL 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokees, you will find your best deals ever with a New 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo...... and peace of mind with a full 36k/36mo bumper to bumper warranty vs buying used. Which model pentastar engine no longer have that engine ticking as it age I know for a fact the 2013 - 2016 models plaque problems right now I'm looking at a 2020 model hopefully that model no longer have that engine tick

I did some research and found this lawsuit filed in January 2022…. Maugain et al. v. FCA US LLC FILED: JANUARY 28, 2022 A class action alleges the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine found in certain 2014-2020 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM vehicles suffers from a valve train defect. A proposed class action alleges the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine found in certain 2014-2020 model year Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM vehicles suffers from a valve train defect that automaker FCA US has known of yet failed to disclose to consumers. The 108-page lawsuit in Delaware says the internal defect in the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine affects its rocker arms, lifters and related valve train components, including the engine control module (ECM) software that controls the precise timing and function of the lifters. The case says that the ticking noise heard by drivers stems from metal particles and debris from the failed rocker arms and other components contaminating the engine oil and circulating throughout the engine. According to the complaint, the Pentastar V6 engine defect can cause an audible ticking sound, engine misfires resulting in bucking and surging, decreased engine performance, hesitation, loss of power, premature wear on internal components and eventually catastrophic engine failure.

@@RalHellcat For 2016, FCA released an updated version of the 3.6 L engine for the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango. This engine now features two-stage variable valve lift (VVL), a cooled EGR, a new intake manifold, new fuel injectors, and new ignition coils. It also features upgrades to the variable valve timing (VVT) system, an increased compression ratio (11.3:1), lower internal friction and lower weight. These improvements help to increase power as well as efficiency.[8] The new version, however, has lost its flex-fuel capability.

Wow. Didn’t know the V6 had so many issues. I had the 5.7L V8 in my Jeep GC High Altitude…. No issues.

I mentioned I have a Trackhawk several times in this video. Most of the comparisons in this video were between the Laredo E , I reviewed, and my Trackhawk.
