Poor Cincinnati Bill. He's the nicest guy in the world; VP of the Cincy club. Taught me how to putt. If I were there I totally would have fist-bumped Bill, or any of the other hundred or so committed disc golfers who travel the country to work these tournaments. Bill, if you ever make it up to the Northwest, look me up!
@@bv6108 It's a key-frame issue. Basically video is a bunch of actual normal pictures every so often and between the pictures the software just moves parts of those pictures around. This makes the video files a lot smaller than just having perfect pictures 24 or 60 per every second. For whatever reason, Ricky's leg didn't get that movement and only had key-frames applied. As a result, he was there on the first key-frame, and on the next he wasn't, and since there was no movement (error), you get that weird blending transition as the software tries to make it as seamless as it can.
You might need a Q-tip to clean your ears. They literally were talking about being more underpar than holes never being replicated again in the history of this course. In short, they called this shot historically good.
Like i am out of words everytime i watch Drew gibson sneak up and then exploding, it must be the best backhand form in discgolf, atleast the best one visually.
Nothing away from the commentators, love it! But why are we complaining that we finally got a half impossible course? This is way More entertaining and better than watching these disc golf gods score 40 under.
I got mine super early from Disc Member before Gibson had signed on. But, I had the same experience he describes. I have a stack of putters I've tried, but the Penrose was the first one I actually liked how it felt and liked how it came off my hand and liked how it flies. Within a week I'd literally dropped 5 strokes just because I was actually making some of my putts all of the sudden.
@nate, like how you can line your shot up against a mando, there should be like a “corner marker” where the same rules for lining up could apply, but it doesn’t have to be a mandatory left or right
"Shout out to the guy on my card who.....". "who was that?"... This is the the stuff that makes these three ambres The best dang commentators this side of the sun... 😆.. Love these guys...
I called that Eagle on hole 2. The camera shot of the basket before he threw, with the light shining perfectly on the basket. I said to myself someone is going to nail a sick shot.
Ricky's "yeah" is his way of saying 'thanks for the support and for getting me pumped up'. Ricky Wysocki wins the "genuine, humble guy award" hands down. Really impressive given the success and fame he has earned.
Disagree a bit with Jerm on Eagles mental toughness. 1) Anger-putt on the very 1st hole. 2) Preserve hole 17 rips apart sharky after a shanked drive 3) misses left side the last inside circle putt @preserve to force a playoff.
Saw Ricky at Milo when the DGPT was in Portland and I asked him if he was enjoying the course and he gave me a classic "Yeeeeeah" and a laugh. Seems like a good guy!!
What‘s the point of having OB LONG when it‘s already super hard to clear the line? To get punished when you achieve a full flight without hitting a tree?
