@@TheBrodudemanguy how dare me? His elbow injury 100% plays a part in his throwing. Not to mention that he used to be able to throw any line he would want, but now he’s playing smart vs trying to impress. So yeah he is out of his prime, not even sorry to upset you
It’s has been a blessing be able to see Simon each round. He’s been my favorite player for years and am glad to see him back. Regardless of outcome, he’s a class act of a player for real. Funny, nice, sincere, and entertaining as always.
@@marshallpeters7174 absolutely, would be thrilled to meet him. He seems like a wholesome dude. I’d love to meet him and Paige pierce or Paige bjerkaas (spelling? Haha) would be awesome.
I 100% don't know who to root for out of these four, this is my dream card right here. I'm super happy to see Simon back playing on lead card coverage so I guess my money is on Simon
Hey Jomez crew! It would really benefit the whole coverage if you had someone range find the distances of each shots as does the Central Coast Disc Golf channel! Would be great for us viewers as well as the commentary, as they don't always have to guess the distances. Likeif you agree so they see it
This coverage is much better than watching the DGPT broadcast. I got frustrated when they cut away from the disc flights to just show player reactions. It is fine to do that between shots, but if I wanted to watch player reactions, I can go to a public course. I'm here to appreciate how well the pros play!
Nobody calls 'em anymore. It's not worth the weirdness it creates on the card, even if the person you call it on is totally gracious about it. It's an issue that we need to address going forward in our game.
It’s not a foot fault though. Thought so maybe at first, but look again. The disc is out of his hand and he is behind his marker. He’s good. After that point, he can kick it to the moon.
Practice round: "There's almost no wind in Oregon" First round: "When there is wind in Oregon, it is steady and not gusty" Second round: "There's some wind and it's a bit gusty" Final round: "The wind is really swirling today" If there had been another round, it would've been in a full gale.
I walked up on Big Jerm playing hole 18 yesterday. He was tucked in the trees up against the fence and I hope I didn’t add any additional distractions! Love the content fellas, keep up the amazing work
This was my first tournament to watch 'live' on Jomez this year, and I truly think it turned out to be one of the best tournaments of the year. Super tight with chase card drama is pretty amazing.
Is it just me or is Ricky the nicest player ever. I feel like he says thank you to the crowd after every shot. He seems so thankful for everything and does not take anything for granted.
Simons angle control is by far his biggest improvement since coming back. He spent some of his time off playing with Paul at his new course, and I believe he picked up a lot from Paul. Throwing far doesn’t always put you in the best position. I was already a big fan and I think it’s awesome to see him transition to shorter more accurate shots
So pumped to have Simon back on the lead card. Even not playing the Simon lines. He’s always a favorite to root for! Keep that elbow healthy so we get more Simon lines!!
I'm new to the sport, so I don't have a deep appreciation for the pros yet. But, I can tell you one thing: Simon Lizotte is already my favorite. Not only is he fun to watch, but he's also a fun, humble guy. ALL HAIL THE LIZARD MAN!
3-4 years ago there was a tree that kept grabbing discs. They didn't know what kind it was. Next day they knew every tree species on the course. Have ever since. Nice touch.
It’s not a foot fault though. Thought so maybe at first, but look again. The disc is out of his hand and he is behind his marker. He’s good. After that point, he can kick it to the moon.
I would love to see three little shadow versions of you guys at the bottom like Mystery Science Theatre 3000. All three of you sounded like them when Eagle was teeing off on hole 1 😂
Golfed here seems like forever.. Nice to recognize the course knowing just how far it really is when playing ball golf.. Really hope they open it up for public playing disc golf here,, id pay for a pass to play if offered..
Little known fact, Eagle actually is a crime fighting superhero at night time. That explains his super human abilities. He's actually throwing at about 5% power when he goes 700ft. Also, he can change the shade of his glasses with a thought.
I’m throwing whatever comes in the mystery box I just ordered. Newbie at 45. Think I see a basket in my near future for around the 2.5 acres I have. Mini course I see in the near future.great content. All the time. Happy New Year to all.
I remember a video in past (5-6 weeks) of Simon practicing with McBeast...they took each others style. When Simon skipped the low percentage shots, he was more efficient
Love the coverage! Are you going to bring back the disc list? That was so nice last week to know the discs that were being thrown instead of speculating about Simon's red disc.
Can y'all put a LPF on Jerm's microphone? It would reduce the s ts sh and ch that are pretty harsh for headphone listeners. Or just roll down the 8 to 9k on his eq? They are articulate and great speakers but the preset on sound and Mic proximity clearly boosts that. I love the work you do and the sound/coverage/commentary is superb otherwise.
I'm glad they started cutting the last 0.5 second off the Whale Sac commercial. It's always so weird watching Eric Oakley trying to act like a normal person and toss the bag in his hand.
