The really sad thing is that regulations killed diesels , diesels from year 2000 and up are amazing. my little 1.4 litre diesel gets incredible mileage. my moms CLA gets terrible mileage , it's manageable only if driven very slow.
They have always been nice looking cars. Now even nicer. But I’m still against a 4 cylinder in a 70g car. 273 hp is still not enough. And when in gods sake will Mercedes make their own electrical harnesses in Germany. Currently made in Mexico. Which accounts for all their electrical problems. Such a nice looking car
Hello, Ben. Superb video for this superb luxury car. I am very happy you finally got to experience it in person as I did a few months ago. I cannot wait until you experience the new S-Class as well. Excellence. I really do love this facelift. In my opinion, this is the best facelift Mercedes-Benz has released mainly due to how much of an update it it, but on the same body rather than a new platform. I would love to give my thoughts on it. The new E-Class - The Perfect Luxury sedan The comfort and luxury in this car is so excellent. With the new Mercedes-Benz philosophy of luxury, this car is made to be even more amazing. Their approach is still my favourite in the entire automotive industry. Their philosophy is luxury comfort, ease, convenience, and fascinating technology. That feeling of "I've got your back" from their cars is excellent. I love that, and judging by their sales and success, many feel the same as I do. Awesome. The new steering wheel is amazing. I love the use of the capacitive buttons. Really easy and smooth. I also like the look of it. The exclusive line is my favourite over the AMG line one. The use case of them both is the same, but I love the look of one more than the other. Let me tell you about the drive: The drive of this car (I drove the E450) is absolutely unreal. It is so silent and comfortable. I love how the driving quality has improved so much from an already perfect drive. The 48-volt system really is a highlight. I cannot live without it. Interestingly, I am wrestling on which car drives better - the E-Class or the GLE. Both of these executive vehicles drive so well. I think the GLE swashes bumps and potholes better than the E-Class, though. Going on long drives with the E-Class would be so nice. A true cruiser that makes me relax and safe while covered in luxury. Truly an E-Class trait. It would do what I love about the GLE that mentioned in your video with the blue GLE. The same applies to this E-Class. Makes sense since they both are... an executive E-Class, just different bodies. Different bodies, same philosophy when engineering it. Okay. Let me tell you what I think about how it looks: I am in-love with how it looks, and I feel that way more and more as I look at it more. I love the line on the side of the car. It is so nice how it is through the door handles, and how it connects to the long backlights. Nice detail. I love the crisp LED detailing. I notice on your model here there is some orange reflector strip on the front wheel arches. American regulations, I see. I do not have those where I live. I like those rims with the ring inside them. Of course, they are fore aerodynamics. Pretty cool. Conclusion: This may be my next car. Yes, I have already specified it and I have the configuration saved. Mine is an almost fully optioned one. It is an exclusive line (with the star on the hood). It is red like wine. I forgot the colour name, but I think it was Ruby Red like on the S-Class, not Hyacinth Red. It had the metallic flakes baked into it. That colour only comes on the exclusive line. I think it was a Designo Hyacinth Red, not the regular one. The interior has one of the beautiful Designo choices tailored for me. Macchiato beige and saddle brown with designo floor mats and light brown ash wood. Very nice. Around €93 000 is how much my E-Class costs. My current car costed around €56 000. So...big jump. Superb video. Lovely car. I am very tired, so I have kept this comment short. I am signing off and going to sleep now at the time of posting this comment. Have a great day, Ben. Bye. 🤗
I really want this car and it’s in my budget range but I’m scared of the maintenance. Even if I buy new, I’m thinking long term. Reliability is VERY important to me and I don’t have time to stop for constant repairs….. I’m not sure what to do
Since MB is going to go all electric, wouldn’t people be wasting their money buying a vehicle in which future repair and maintenance will be impossible because parts made for it will be phased out? So it seems like it’s better for people to wait until the electric era, right?
@@Karma-hy6ki yea as long as you maintain it. But I also haven’t driven my car as much as most people. It’s a 2004. Under 100k but it can go to 250 if maintained. My mom has an E class and she had an S class before. Her S lasted longer than her E class. But again that depends on how well you maintain it. These cars aren’t built for ripping and running.
@@educate3d thanks for replying. the benz is in my budget but I was considering a new 55k Lexus that would give me zero issues. Is it expensive to maintain a Benz tho? I need a car that I can put MILES on without a headache.
Thinking hard of trading in my 21 highlander limited for this one , maybe i should wait a little more for this one to depreciate since this one will quicker then my toyota
I have E300 Coupe Cabriolet 2023, and when i change my display style to Understated, it doesn’t work at all. I see that your display freezed too when you selected Understated style.
Ive seen the ones in Europe with the traditional mercedes emblem protruding from the hood. It looks so much better than this. The huge logo on the grill cheapens out Mercedes big time.
All new cars are about the same price and quality as Mercedes. A new Toyota Camry can cost you 39,000 A new Honda can cost you 36,000 and a new Hyundai can cost you 33,000. There is nothing special about Mercedes anymore
The previous generation looks so much better! Like the 18-20 models. Sleeker, more elegant, this car doesn’t have that premium benz look, at least on the outside
i had to max out fking vid resolution and pause at fking 20:20 to hardly read that fking spec sheet to know that this finish is called polar white. wouldn't it be nice if u include it in ur vid?
