i deliver in central london most days and live just outside the m25. i usually do 75 miles a day from door to door, so this would genuinely work. my transport gets 19mpg average most days because of traffic so this is seriously compelling me to try. nice one mate, really appreciate the insight
honestly your van review are what I look out for whenever Im searching for something. well your reviews in general! I love Mercedes but I'm not sure they've nailed this tbh, maybe the sprinter is better
When I was a van driver, you didn't need to worry about range. You just filled up when you ran out but I fear, as with everything changing in the world, that Mercedes are right to make a range of electric vans. To not be able to charge quickly is definitely a bad point for this, as if you have an electric issue overnight you could have an entire fleet of vans out of charge. Would you buy one, Tom?
I would, for short haul. For longer, Sprinter with rapid charge - and as the ranges go up it'll all become easier. We're almost there for electrification in the UK, but until there are WAY more chargers, people won't take the risk.
