I think the GT-R is perfect the way it is~ It may not wow people as much as it did when it was first released in 2007, but those who know, know how amazing this car is 15 years later~
V6 with 565 HP is pretty impressive. Between the GTR and the Shelby GT350, I would still choose the GT350 cause I like driving manual cars. No wimpy automatics for me. Lol.
So no Porsche, no McLaren, no AMG, no DSG and so on... Not to mention that the GT-R is much faster than any GT350 and GT350R included. Of course, if you prefer the GT350 it's your choice. Remain subjective.
Rias Gremory I don’t care about being faster then others because I don’t spend my time constantly hauling ass on the road anyways. Just like shifting gears myself. and people who think they are cooler then others just because their cars are faster are toxic and have very low self estime.
Well none asked ur opinion vintage triple x if u think that u would like to have a gt350 fine but keep it with ur self . Personally I love the gt350 too. Is my dream car.
so lucky to having this "beast" at ur country, but u can't imagine when u have this at Indonesia and drive daily with this beast, welcome to the "little hell" lol
Why tf did you record on winter time?? Driving a gt-r during the winter with super slow speed and post it on yt is like flying a plane under the water and act like is normal.
Charlie, did you ever hear about letting a turbo car idle a little bit before shutting them off?? I know it's a press car but it wouldn't hurt to treat it properly. Great vide btw!!
@@brotato1921 i agree they should’ve at least made some updates for 2021. A lot of the German competition is definitely more refined and comprised of newer interior components and tech. But if you’re comparing to companies like Aston Martin and Jaguar then you realize that lot of smaller companies like them are using equally if not more outdated components than Nissan. Sadly, every car company these days is downsizing their sport car budget and allocating that money for SUVs and vehicles that sell. Hopefully we’ll get an r36 at all?..
@@mauriciogarcia4190 Its definitely doable even for Nissan to have a better interior. A Hyundai Elantra has a much better looking interior than this, and the GTR is 100k dollars more expensive. they just see that the car has great engine and drives well so they keep selling it the same way. Look at the Nissan 370Z for example. its the same problem as well, they don't bother updating their cars.
Because the GT-R is way faster. the GT-R is a supercar... The GT-R has big tires and that's normal. Of course it's going to make some noise, If you want silence go buy a Tesla
I think this GTR is on winter tires if it's the same GTR TheTopher had...so that would explain the road noise. I see the fanboy-ism hasn't changed for the GTR either. It's one hell of a car but the community is toxic. He was just making a statement on value proposition and they always go to OMG FORZA FASTER DRIFT YO F*** IT GODLZILLA.
@@PaulsPlace Eh, Fanboys are everywhere regardless of the brand ... A real fan doesn't show up so easily, look at the number of views compare to the commentary. It's insignificant. "Toxic" is subjective according to people. They use this word for everything and nothing. There are also some Porsche fans who are 'toxic', some BMW fans also 'toxic', some AMG fans also 'toxic' etc... That doesn't mean anything and even less on the brand.
@@laxop3420 I mean, it's not BS....and I wholeheartedly agree with you there about it being everywhere...but its a pretty common stereotype about GTR ones, a simple Google search will tell you that. Lmao. You must not have been around RU-vid much around 2012+ era.
That car is way overpriced but I guess it’s that expensive to prevent young inexperienced wanna be boy racers from buying these cars and crashing and killing a bunch of people ? Because it does look like one of those cars that people crash while leaving car meets.
*''The GTR screams teenager''* ? I hope you are kidding. And choosing BMW as a reference ? I love BMW, the M2, M3 and M4 are great cars but more for young people and fans of the brand. The GT-R name has a great history and continues on the current world championships. All this started in the 60s and the R35 is part of it because even today it still wins competitions ahead of Porsche, Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, Aston, Lamborghini etc ... And yes, proofs are there. It's not their fault that this kind of competition isn't broadcast in the USA. The GT-R is a track car/supercar and it is for people of culture, no stupid pop and bang, a story, real fans, hand build, a car known and loved around the world and so on.
Such a great vehicle and POV, but a bunch of stupid drivers who can't follow simple lane rules! Totally ruins the vibe, I was hoping for some more acceleration but they were always in front of you to ruin it...
Not sure if you know this, but unless you've done a Transmission tune/upgrade you have the potential to mess up the front Diff on the drive train in an AWD vehicle doing donuts because the Front diff is trying to work against the whole action, then again being snowy and ur just sliding around and controlling the drift you may be avoiding such a situation. Seen a guy ruin is GTR in 1 day doing donuts, front diff started clicking, same thing happened to B is for Build and his GTR. Had to pull the Trans and rebuild the front diff gears., but he was going to upgrade the trans anyways because his next step was a 2k BHP build and had to anyways.
