Join us live for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony.
The 2021 Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony takes place in Oslo City Hall.
The ceremony contains artistic performances, a speech by the chair of the Nobel Committee, presentation of the diploma and gold medal to the laureates, and finally the laureates' Nobel Peace Prize lectures.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee is expecting both Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov to attend the ceremony.
Moreover, the World Food Programme, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020, will be represented at the ceremony by its Executive Director David Beasley. Mr. Beasley will deliver the Nobel Peace Prize lecture on behalf of the World Food Programme.

No translation for Muratov speech ??? I was expecting more from those who organized the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony !!! I am sure that if Alfred Nobel would have lived he would not have been very happy with the way this ceremony was organized !!!

We do receive a text of these speeches in advance, however we never know if the laureate will deviate from that text. For this reason, we make that text available when the ceremony has begun, but refrain from attempting a live subtitle from that text or using a live interpreter, since this could introduce errors. Sometimes we do provide speeches with subtitles later on - and if we do, you'll find it right here on our channel. - Thanks for watching!

When speaking of equality by Mr. Beasley and quoting Jesus about, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ This equality makes no sense in terms of the human intellect as it is not equal. However, it becomes clearer when you understand that the suffering is what becomes equal among all human beings whose consciousness has not been damaged by misinterpretations of old doctrines. I would think much of this suffering happening in the world comes through the enrichment of the wealthy societies... it all seems farcical to be so confident, but at least there is attempt to right your own personal wrongs?!

The main reason is to bring for world very clear message on native language to avoid any manipulations and misunderstandings in further. His strong speech on russian can be very dangerous for himself if he would just speak on English! Dmitry speech is not only for Nobel committee, but for all russians and for Russian government.
