Great video! I am going to purchase an S but no tech package but wondering if the factory can have just rear camera and speakers mounted and wires run so I can get an aftermarket display then just connect.

I just bought a "new" '21, being delivered next week. Just the basic S package, figured I'd drive it for awhile before I address upgrades I might feel necessary. My ONLY concern at this point is that "shark fin" on the rear --- seems like that would totally disrupt any "over the shoulder" glances. Do I have to make do with just the mirrors? Answer appreciated.

What of maintenance concerns plusses and minuses? What of any issues regarding these concerns? Warranties? I read somewhere that the floor heats up terribly...has anything been done about that?

1) As the Slingshot is actually a mechanically simple machine, maintenance is relatively simple as well, much like a motorcycle. (I would like to know what specific concerns he has.) 2) Standard warranty on a Slingshot is 2 years unlimited mileage. It can be extended to 5 years total. 3) Pre-2019 there were some issues with the floor on the passenger side heating up, particularly on hot days in traffic. The shielding of the exhaust was much improved in 2019. Vented hood options would help even more as cool airflow is increased.
