I can't believe it when i saw the video.. Question: why is there a TRANSMISSION TUNNEL at the back? Answer : because porsche took a gasoline chassis and remove the engine and slap a battery pack underneath and call it a EV.. a tell tale benefit of a EV is that the back is completely flat (because there is no engine/transmission etc to the axles .. its just front/rear motors) so passengers can cross freely .. but to see the rear like that! ? wow - is that a EV that you want to spend $$ for?
@@dbh998 ioniq 5 is a nice design man.. only gripe imho.. is the battery pack is NCM and not LFP.. LFP is safer and has better life cycle.. but nice design look!
the base model comes with 19 inch wheels. the 20 inch are optional... also the vents on the side are only fake when you opt for the electric charging port
Tesla is cheap as the panels are not well put together. U can get a golden dragon when china makes this type of car and it could be better quality than the tesla.
An Ikea chair and designer chair both serve their purpose as seats. A Casio watch and a Grand Seiko both serve their purpose by telling the time. So your point is that we must always buy the Ikea chair and Casio watch?
@@jinghao89 Great watch analogy. Perhaps a more apt one would be that of Omega vs Swatch Omega. Omega being the Tesla and Swatch Omega being this Porsche Taycan being sold by scalpers on carousell. I like my premium rides, but unfortunately am not that blinded by badges. The reality here is that Tesla is years ahead in battery tech and at the very least, built on an EV platform. Sure, they aren't playing in the "luxury" category nor do they pretend to be. But Porsche sure is pretending to play the EV game here. Used to be that you buy Porsches because they're worthy of the tagline "sports car", you get what you pay for in the engine, drive and interior even if its at a premium. Now, a Tesla that's 100k cheaper outperforms off the line and with better mileage. For those that want to plonk 450k on a car, I'd stick to the traditional ICEs and get your money's worth until the rest of the auto makers finish playing catch up.
Taycan with big battery gets 300 miles real world, Google it. Taycan owners are not worried about premiums they're worried about premium quality. Not bragging but I could have bought 3 Model 3's and added to the hundreds I see daily. I even drove the Plaid but asked myself wtf for and it still looks plain. Once the gimmicks get old the Tesla just wouldn't do it for me.
