2021 Sailor Moon Polly Pocket Toy Review セーラームーン "Compact House" 

Polly Pockets didn't come with stands because they were definitely more balanced, also they used to have little holes/inserts for your Polly dolls to stand in so they didn't move around. I had a princess castle one in a heart shape, and a couple of star shaped ones that had fairy Polly pockets and they lit up. They were legit the best toys.

I passed on this.. but yes over 30 Moonie here. I was in middle school when Sailor Moon debuted here. I grew up with Usagi/Serena and I will always have time for her for the rest of my life. No shame in our game.... am I right.

I LOVE THIS i looooved polly pockets as a child, and no, the little support thing didn't come with it back in the day, we used to just... hold it as we played lmao they really should make one of the magnetic ones that "walks" on its own and give her the thingy that makes her change clothes idk how to explain this !!! The main function was just to have a toy to carry around, it's like a barbie but super small, they don't really do anything, but you could collect the different "books" (the ones i remember were book-like idk how they worked in america but that's what we had in argentina) and they had slight differences, some of them you could join them with others in the collection and make basically a megazord of polly pockets. anyway, IM VERY JEALOUS this is awesome and i would sell my firstborn for it

Oh man, the quality of the brooch alone looks really good. I never had Polly Pocket, my sister did, but I sure as hell had the "boy" version of it which was called Mighty Max lol

For me, Polly Pocket was for playing with on the bus. You could have essentially a whole play set and figurines to make a story and it was portable.

The Polly Pockets of the 90's were more balanced I guess you could say, so they didn't need stands. This is so adorable though, omg!! I want one just to say I have one, but idk if I'm willing to pay that much for it. Lol and yeah, you could keep the doll and the accessories in the compact itself, and I'm glad they can with this Sailor Moon set, as well.

Only a few of the 90s Polly Pocket toys had a stand but most of the 90s Polly Pockets were built to stand up on their own without a stand assist. The original 90s Polly Pockets were built to be closed and all the tiny pieces were meant to stay inside the original 90s set.

I had a Strawberry-themed Polly Pocket as a kid. The little figures could be placed into holes so they'd be still and it balanced without an extra stand.

Sailor moon is a cash cow. They know people will still buy the merch even though the quality is bad and the packaging will damage the items before customers even buy them.

Yeah, the Polly Pockets were recalled after a child swallowed a dolly...and yeah all there was was different sets that you could connect to make a little village sort of thing. There was also bigger sets that came with Polly's friends and other accessories. There was a boy line called Mighty Max too.

I couldn't justify the $60 and now that it's being scalped to high hell, I still can't justify it LOL It's just jadsgk it's so expensive for what it is.

😢 I don't need it but I want it! Please teach us the ways. How do you get all the cool stuff first?! What are these websites? 💖

The sailor moon crystal Square scarf

I thought it was super cute and I would love to have one, but honestly I didn’t think it was worth $60-80 at all. And upon seeing this review where you can see how easily scratched it got and a bit more perspective of how small it is, I REALLY don’t think it’s worth the high price point. If I get lucky and I see one for $50-60 I’ll jump on it but for now I think I’m going to have to pass even tho it’s so cute :’(

The compact is pretty but I'm not really big on the shiny look and the scratches is probably the reason why I don't like it lol. With material like that it seems more likely to scratch. Regular polly pocket toys have regular plastic on the outside. They also have little indents inside so the figures can stand better. The toys never came with stands. Overall I think the originals were made more with kids in mind where this is just made for collector purposes...I still want one but I do wish they added more things polly pocket usually had more items too. I hope they add a casual usagi.

I missed this one but I managed to preorder the newest one with Helios. I don’t think I’ll ever take it out of the box. It feels to clumsy displaying this without the traditional little holes the original poly pockets have in the past.

Yes, that is what Polly Pockets were. And no, they did not need a stand to hold them up- they were more balanced. Fav childhood toy! I had a whole village essentially and I cannot wait til both of my Sailor Moon ones arrive!

thanks for the video. mine should arrive within the next few days but I wanted to check it out already. I am very disappointed that it is a shiny gold instead of the matte~ish gold from the promo pictures. it looks kind of cheap like this and of course you can see every little scratch on it, and also the cheap crystals.. I mean it was quite expensive, but it kinda looks like those cheap little gashapon compacts from the outside. but the inside is very pretty at least

I collect vintage Polly Pockets, so I very nearly bit the bullet on this one, but I just couldn’t get past the price. It’s so darn cute that I almost wish I had sprung for it, but how annoying that it’s scratched like that

Why are they still using the 25th Anniversary logo on new merch? Sailor Moon turns 30 in 8 months. The 20th anniversary also went on for 5 years. Pretty ridiculous. As far as Polly Pocket type toys go, this one looks nice to display but sucks in terms of any play value.
