Hold up! You said you “unboxed” the bicycle? Wow… in my day, the RedLine and Mongoose was the bicycle to have. I don’t remember being able to have bicycles mailed to me. Those were the good ol’ days, and those were some dope bicycles. Enjoyed your perspective at the end… interesting thoughts…
Yup! you can get em straight to your door. and my dad always talk about mongoose and diamondback like they were the best bike on earth... maybe one day we will see SE bikes in walmart.. you never kno. and thanks for watching till the end!
Cool collection! Thank you for the reviews and your videos! Great perspective at the end! It’s so important to be happy and enjoy life! Stay blessed my friend! 🤘🏼🔥😎
The newer Big Rippers all have double wall rims and sealed hub bearings. I'm not sure about the older ones though. The headset is semi-sealed, which is disappointing for an $800+ bike, but that's the only thing they cheap out on that I can think of. Some people complain about the freewheel, but mine has been fine. Nice collection! I like the silver/blue one the best. Cheers
The front triangle is normally chrome-mo and the rear is hi tense steel. I was taught that when I got my BMX. I spent a little more for full chrome-mo. BTW, nice fleet 👌
Sweet video again,,,, Arctic is my alltime favorite SE BIKE and will never part with and ride it quite a bit. The OG monster quad is my daily rider with my dog to the park. My favorite riders out my Bassett Dub 29” and super ronin. I also really enjoy my S&M Covid cruiser 29”. I built a really nice Gary Turner 29” last year but I just didn’t like the geometry unfortunately and sold it instantly, sooo I’m hoping the World Tour 29” I’m going to checkout tommorow feels good cuz they look beautiful. 🤞🏻
It's Ok to have hobbies while you're here, that's part of enjoying life. What made you sell the Purple Rain? I have that and the Fat Quad. Weird I've never ran into you in the H.
I sold it bc I'm getting another purple rain one day a friend really wanted it. Its my favorite big ripper from 2021. And what part of Houston you in? I haven't gone to any Rideout lately
@@juiceboxjigga makes sense because I have friends always trying to buy mine off of me. I won't ever sell it given how lucky I was to come across it for retail right time and place. I live in Westchase on the southwest side. Ride with my STREETRIDAZ people and sometimes Clutch City Cruisers or Midnight Riders on their nights if I'm off.
@@juiceboxjigga Clutch City Cruisers is every Thursday night and it's mainly BMXers. Midnight Riders is Friday night and are predominantly BMXers as well. These two are huge turnouts in the city. Now STREETRIDAZ is a different crew. Intermediate/fast rides are Monday and Wednesday nights as well as Saturday mornings. We have mixed bikes, but most are on geared road bikes for speed. The chill rides are Taco Tuesday night and Sunday Brunch(going all day to night). I whip out my BMX bikes and my dog on these rides. We're bar crawling and doing more hanging than riding. Follow the IG for announcements. A lot of riders are on ice because of the weather at the moment.
Also things like the chromo frame doesn’t make sense with things like the Big Ripper because they were always aluminum race bikes, but the Quadangles are usually always full chromo, except the Fat one because that would weight too much
of course, gotta save the spare parts! and good point but everything evolves somehow. with as expensive as these bikes are getting i think the big rippers should be full chromo
@@juiceboxjigga Considering they’re based off of the P.K. Ripper frame, the P.K.Ripper has been the aluminum race bike for 40 years, and the Quadangle has been the chromo one for almost the same time, it feels wrong to to have a chromo P.K. essentially, with bigger bikes it also comes to a lot more preference considering they’re already heavier due to their size
