I definitely appreciate your videos; thank you for the excellent education you are giving us. Every video is increasing my knowledge of my machine. The one where you took the top off a suspension model was especially helpful as I have a 2014 RXT-X aS 260.
Good Video - I liked your good & positive attitude towards it all. At least you know they’ll be back for a carbon seal/driveshaft in the future. I have this same model & was surprised to see all the holes in a fresh new hull. You know there are holes for things but just more than I would have thought.
Great Video! I own one of these skis which I do some videos with on my channel. Haven't had any issues, but nice to see how easy you make it look. Moving the engine and carbon seal are what would make me think twice about tackling the repair myself. I'd be interested to see more details on that. Subscribed!
Looking at the state of that flange I can't believe the customer would put that back in after such a major overhaul. He's already paying for the labor so how much is a new carbon seal and flange? He better install a bilge pump because he is going to have a leaky boat.
Just had a 2022 GTI se 170 involved in a 2 ski wreck. Atleast a foot & a half from the Front of hull was knocked off.😩 The ski sunk with speakers still visible. I don’t know if the motor is screwed or not but I’d like to converse with you from seeing your video. Help needed…
Ok where are you located? I have 2 2005 GTX 185 sc that are driving me crazy. One has a new motor took it out for the fist time and its alarm and check engine came on. The other has water in the oil now . First time out this year also. They say it most likely the oil cooler. I'm replacing that this week. But I need a mechanic that can work on them and not charge me an arm and a leg. Let me know your location. I'm in Port Charlotte
The SE Models whether 130 or 170 come with some added features like a reboarding swim ladder, the adjustable trim settings, low speed & cruise control. Go to the Sea Doo website for all the differences. I personally have the 2021 GTI 130 SE & I would highly recommend getting the SE model if you can afford it as I have used all of the extra features my first season which totaled 69.3 hours. I’m dying to get back out on the water but in MO it’s going to be another few months before the weather warms up.
You should mention that lower the IBR before you take the hill apart. I'm there now and trying to figure out how to lower the IBR to be able to remove the jet pump
@@calasworldnice video bro! But what if the local representatives in Europe don't offer it for sale. Are there other suppliers for the body? Whether it's in US or China? Unfortunately, our dealers here don't sell bodies for any Jet Ski models except for the Spark.. I will be very grateful for your help. I am eagerly awaiting your response.
I see alot of skis with rot , rust and wiring problems because they don't properly clean the ski after being in salt water. What is the best way to clean the engine compartment after a day on the water ..especially in salt water ??
How do you separate the bottom and top hull so easily? Don’t you have to remove all the wiring to the gauge cluster and handle bars? Or is there a faster way because I removed all the wiring before splitting both half’s. How long did it take you?
Man you do look easy.👍but I live in VA my 2021 Seadoo RXT X300 bottom hull damaged ( cracked) insurance wasn’t cover. Do you know someone replace , I will take my ski there to repair. Thank you very much.
hello everyone!! who faced such problem? Loss of power on a 2013 Sea Doo GTX 155, the battery is new, the starter relay is normal, what could be the cause, could it be the voltage regulator, or another reason?
I sure hope you can answer this question, because there's not much accurate info out there at all. I have a 2020 GTX 300 Limited with the st-3 hull (acrylic outer shell). Someone rammed it into the pretty hard right there where the front tow ring is. Supposedly fiberglass won't bond for a long time to acrylic and Seadoo doesn't sell a replacement hull. So what are people supposed to do if their st-3 hull becomes damaged badly?
@@kevinmorris9712 I have a body shop that I use and they do fix it now you have to use on adhesive resin and you cannot take shortcuts out or you can buy a used hull and put everything from your to that one
such a terrible design by seadoo... fiberglass hulls that crack could of been easily repaired (and not as easily broken) ... but hey cheaper for seadoo to make plastic than fiberglass + they make $$$ selling the new hulls. I would never buy a poly hull anything.
Trying to watch your channel is very hard, you seem to think your better then everyone or how people do there builds but I’ve been watching i have t seen 1, 14 or 16 vein pump being installed on any skis, if so I’ve missed them then that’s my apology i wish i was close to you and suck up any ski you had and maybe that would humble you a little anyways have a great day and stop bragging
