I'm 182cm and love the medium. I find size large bikes hard on my back and wrists on long rides. Plus some trails have tight turns for large size bike. The large would be better on steep fast trails with wide turns, which we don't have lot of in my area.
Nice!
Schysst pris!
Thanks! Haven't tested the Marin so I can't really say... And then there is the new Trek Roscoe which looks really nice! Canyon Stoic? Pick the bike which is available in stock is always a good advice. 😄
Don't know my inseam unfortunately. I am 185 cm tall (I guess I have fairly normal proportions?) and I usually prefer a reach from at least 470 mm and upwards. With that said I do have a XC bike with only 455 mm...
@@MTBs for the comp: the tires wash out on berms and fold off the smallest jumps. The brakes are way underpowered, only resin pad compatible. These are two finger brake levers that do not belong on a trail bike. I can’t even drop a 2 footer into a corner….so, no, this is not a trail bike. And specialized just raised the price to $2300 USD. The seat is comfortable. The routing for the rear brake cable is problematic. There is armour on other bikes where they chose to run their cables. Stupid. And I am stupid for buying one.
@@MTBs sounds like this should not be called a trail bike. I like to ride trails. This did not really stand up to the test as far as I’m concerned. I’m not riding bike park but like to take small drops, jumps, ride chunky, technical fast, fun….as I know it. Trail…so what I am I missing? This climbs and rides moderately technically terrain very well. But it can’t handle as much as it’s being marketed as.
Not trying to defend the bike (wasn't paid to do this review), what I meant was that maybe you are asking too much from a hardtail? I thought it was very shaky on red trails, but that was expected from my part. A FS is so different to ride in places like that.
Yes, that's a lot of money for a hardtail and I would like to have seen better components for that price. It is a very nice frame, though. They start from around 1600€.
