I hope that Subaru replaces the optional CVT with a dual clutch automatic transmission for its’ next generation WRX. I drive in rush hour traffic everyday and Subaru’s EyeSight system is perfect for rush hour traffic.
Hmm, I like the lightbar in the back, but don't like the smaller headlights in the front with the large indentation on the inner areas. It makes the car look like it has a big nose. But overall I like this design and would trade in my STI for it if the MPG is better.
@@Goopie48 I guess if you look at the Mustang, maybe it's a trend? The last front clip looked a lot more beefy. For the most recent one they did exactly what they did here, where they made the headlights smaller and the front end looks more cone shaped. I could see these pictures as being real.
#1: Subaru is never gonna go back to the raised scoop. 2: No car is gonna come off the assembly line with separate pieced side-skirts and front lip. There's already pictures of the first non-concept STI floating around that can be found on several JPN car magazines. The headlights are long like the Viziv light but put into a housing and run almost all the way to the grill. Also, Subaru has a track record of keeping their foglight housing shape of their concept cars in their actual product (the pictures i found had the foglight housing of the Viziv, but with foglights in the corners where they usually are but with a sort of plastic parting in the center, probably a faux vent.) Speaking of vents, check the Viziv concept car and you'll notice the scoop is further back and will be recessed a little for the new engine.
This might be close to what it will look like but definitely not real. Lots of people draw these mock ups as a hobby. Someone has taken the currant body and made small changes by adding in other current Subaru model's features/options. The new generation is going to be its own platform. So overall the look should change significantly.
i really want a wagon/hatch i have this itch that i can't scratch i want an awd hatch/wagon/suv with some sportyness to it but not bogged down by a crap cvt the new impreza/crosstrek is slow and feels like a step down from my 2008 2.5i the closest vehicle i've driven that fit that was a 2010 forester XT.
they aren't real pics. if the taillights look like that im not buying, but i think the front end and side are correct. the whole back end is probably off though. these pics were done by a JPN magazine as an attempt to show what the new sti would look like.
