Very good review. I'm currently driving the Toyota Corolla hatchback but I'm tempted to go for the Swace next time (my previous car was the Auris Touring Sport hybrid, and I do miss the extra space!). The Swace is slightly cheaper than the equivalent spec Corolla, and I'm not bothered about badge snobbery. I also actually think the Suzuki front grille and lights look better than the Corolla!
Good review as always Damian. Not my cup of tea for the money, despite the size and tech, but appreciate it will have a marketplace. Thanks as always for the content.
Thanks Darren, same as me it’s not really a car I would choose for my needs but if it does as well as the Corolla it is based on they will be very happy lol. Afraid videos might be less frequent due to lockdown V3 but might not a Q&A or something similar (will be 2 review videos this month though )
@@DamoDrives Totally understandable mate, safety first. A Q&A / more about me would be a nice addition. I’ve still the yearly review to catch up on as well as the two in the pipeline. 😊
Nice looking front. I think the rear is a little generic looking. But overall is it Suzuki enough? Have to see and drive it for myself. Nice review though.
Glad you enjoyed the review, just about enough to say it’s a Suzuki but with few changes over the Corolla going to be difficult. I agree the front does look good and would like to see the large wheels on the car and no promo stickers.
When and if will the Suzuki Automobile return to the USA? Im driving a 2007 Suzuki Reno now that I just love. Don't want to give it up for anything, however, this Suzuki Swace has our attention.
I think it will do really well and I’m afraid I don’t know if or when it will come to the states. Not sure if you have watched the other Suzuki videos on the channel also a video on the new Across will be going live in a weeks time
Good review, although you need to edit the part about the CVT gearbox. Its not a CVT in the traditional sense, but an electronic CVT - eCVT, there are no cones and belts, just a single planetary gear and the 2 electric motors. Do some google research and be truly amazed.
@@DamoDrives the CVT is perfekif i drive.little gas and its about 1.500 rp/m and if you flor it its about 3.500 rp/m. the suzuki has not arrived in sweden yet. had a suzuki s cross before the toyota..and its ar a suzuki A cross to.its the same as Rav 4..but it is not in sweden either. but i think whats is only charging hybrid and whats nothing for me
