2021 Suzuki Vitara 1.4 Boosterjet Allgrip Hybrid (129 PS) TEST DRIVE 

Japanese cars have so much better engineered powertrains than the Korean competition. This car is really economic and quick as well (for it's rated horsepower) and in general Suzuki's have a nimble chassis and low maintenace costs as well. I would prefer this any day over any Kia or Hyundai.

After Driving a Vitara 129hp allgrip for 1 year as a forester i can say that i use 6,6l on average with all weather tires and 75% road 25% offroad use, which is not more but less than a Tiguan 2.0 TDI 4Motion would consume. Indeed, its noisy above 130 kmh but i rarely drive it above these speed. With the correct tires its relatively decent offroad (with a installed aftermarket 30mm lifting kit) as well as maneuverably (which is key in turning in small forest roads). As today I wouldnt trade the Vitara for a Duster or a different new vehicle in this price class because of overall cost efficientness as well as durability and equipment. You can get these for as low as 23k € new with full spec equipment and get 5 years warranty, what do you want more?

How does it feel in start - stop traffic with engine stop function engaged? I read somewhere that it can also creep slowly on battery power, but I don't know how convenient/practical this is in real situation. This is more important to me than max speed.

lo que NO ME GUSTA del Suzuki Grand Vitara es: los caballos de potencia asi como la Fuerza de Torque ya que en pendientes o subidas mayores a 30° grados de inclinación NO SUBE y termina quedándose... debería la marca japonesa desarrollar un Suzuki con Caballos de Fuerza (CV) de al menos 180 y un Torque de mínimo 220... ESAS DEBERÍAN SER UNA DE LAS PRUEBAS a someter a las nuevas Suzukis como a cualquiera otro vehículo, observar cómo se desempeña en pendientes sumamente elevadas.

Total unrealistic range you are showing on the dashboard. The measured comsumption while driving is never correct. Fill it up, drive 600-700 km and fill it up again, thats the consumption in real life. I owe a 1400 Vitara all grip automatic and use 6.4 l/100 km in avarage traffic. No new Vitara will do 4 l/100 km, not even the hybrid.

omg... all those plastics looking horrible.. insane sharp edges... back bumper looks like it's car from 2005. Even old Grand Vitara was looking more sexy for that time.
