0-100 timings Polo~9.5 sec Altroz~ 11.5 sec. Thats a big difference for power enthusiasts. I love polo

In the past 10 years we only got Polo. But Tata had Vista, Bolt and currently Altroz. VW is still up with it's 12 year old Chassis with all other modern counterparts.

I am a single guy so Polo is the best hatchback there is. Purchased one last year, haven't regretted it. The quality is great and the way it drives witch such confidence on highway speeds is amazing. Also yeah, service is expensive. First service after one year was 10,226 Rs 😅😅

I wanted to buy Polo TSI Last month but I searched for in Maharashtra Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat for manual TSI and I could not find even 1 car available. Then I bought altroz i turbo dark edition And believe me it's a much better car. When I say better car I mean by practicality and not by sheer on oomph or german quality(Yes Polo is still my dream car) But I think altroz is much better choice than i20 N line given the price also new i20 is shit looking , i know as i traded my Beautifully sophisticated looking i20 CRDI asta O which I had for 4 years for altroz iturbo. Yes I feel the lack of torque as compare to my i20 diesel but My honest decision to buy a petrol car was based on pollution as I wanted to pollute as less as possible. Torque is less than even Polo but it's a better choice at 10.82L lakhs As compare to i20 N line which is 14 fucking lakhs. And you could actually get a proper manual transmission no fake iMT shit with one less pedal

You should've mentioned cruise control too, i guess for a car it's range it has always been watered down it doesn't have the latest gimmics but the ones that matter most, like all 4 one touch power windows and a ride quality no other car in it's segment can come close too.

Karan Bhai, Upgrading from 4 cylinder Maruti 1051cc Maruti engine, what turbo 3 cylinder 1200cc Tata, or VW engine differ? Has tata stopped manufacturing engines inhouse? My Maruti 4 cylinder engine produces 65 h.p. and has enough power. Turbo means more power with additional fuel efficiency. Does these turbos offer that, if compared with 4 cyl. regular petrol engines?

People will buy polo irrespective of mileage ! Jtp didn't sell well because of this reason. People expect safety , speed and vfm all from Tata!

I own Tata tigor.. After 2years.. Same as bloody Indica.. Crossed just 25km..noisy cabin.. No pickup.. No mileage.. Poor service.. My elder brother own swift and my younger brother own polo 2012 model.. Crossed 1 lakh still interior is great and paint quality is far better.. I felt swift 6 years old driving was better.. Tata is unreliable.. Only harman speaker was good.. Car was too slow when I on ac.. It was same like Indica taxi.. I would never buy Tata.. Will buy hundai.. Vw or skoda cars.. Bye bye Tata..

Cars are long term investment. Polo has stayed in the market for long and kept its position. None of its buyers regretted. Just imagine the buyers of i20 first gen or second gen today. They are outdated oldies in their own book. Having a feeling tata is going they way of hyundai.

Overall, Altroz is awesome... But, it misses strong punch from engine... Or else it would have attained better 0-100 mark... Thank You :-)
