That was my thought too. They basically have the same interior, I even upgraded to leather seats, a sports bar, stepboards, a bedliner, flares, side visors, and a rear camera.
Toyota, the absence of the BEDLINER (alone) "could be" a DEAL BREAKER. Much more with your omission of the ROLLBAR which is designed for added "safety". Trust me. I can tell because I know a lot of people who are planning to buy a pick-up truck anytime soon (including myself) and they express this concern and considering Isuzu as their best option or any other brands in the market such as the Ranger, Maxus and Foton at this price point. So, Toyota, please include those "accessories" into your consideration and you will surely double or at least gain an additional 50% volume on your Hi-lux sales.
iba talaga nagagawa ng brand recognition. Everyone knows how reliable a toyota is. It may not be the best pick-up (I think Navara and Dmax is a better choice in terms of looks, comfort, features and pricing) pero one thing is for sure is tatagal because of spare parts availability.
No way tht the most basic Toyota hilux....its have touch screen Radio and digital aircond and the mirror can flip?....in Malaysia if you get the basic spec you get the manual aircond and a basic radio 😭👍...

Parang nagsisi din ako minsan na Hilux 4x2, 2020 yung kinuha namin, pangit vehicle stability, low horse horse power tapus napaka basic compared sa other brand may na may rear camera na at may bedliner matting, pinaka feature lang ng sasakyan na to is electronic fold ang side mirror yun lang maraming pa naman 4x2 na mas maganda pa kay hilux even sa interiors niya napaka basic para walang dating 🤦♂️
Hello Iskong Bisaya! The Hilux registered 17.4 km/l on the open highway. The 10.8km/l you see on the 7:54 mark is the reading while we’re shooting the car. Meaning, naka tigil yung kotse tapos the engine is running while shooting the car. That said, mag-iiba talaga ang km/l reading.
Toyota is overrated. At that price point other pick up trucks mid variants have bedliners, reverse cam, HDC, cruise control, blind spot alert and rear cross traffic alert. Toyota scrimp on these features simply because they know filipinos have a penchant for the brand. But Toyota's reliability of the 80's and 90's is a thing of the past.
Kung ako tatanungin bakit si hilux wala masyadong features gaya sa ibang pick up, kasi the more na mas madaming features, mas mahal mag pa maintanance haha, kaya para sakin okay na si hilux, kahit yung conquest ba, kasi subok na yan matagal na, and kung may masira man e hindi naman din ganun kahirap hanapin ang parts, unlike sa ibang rivals na sa features lang bumabawi, si hilux more on being a pick up, as in magagamit mo sa trabaho at kahit saan, matibay pa.
Sa lahat ng pick up, worst ang hilux sa handling, kaya kung gsto mo ng kargahan kumuha ka nlng canter or l300 hahahaha! Worst pick up yan, npakatagtag ampota, navara or strada or even ung sirain na ranger mas maganda oa dyan
