I’ll take reliability and durability over a fancy interior or pointless party tricks any day. That Tundra will still be going strong long after the “nicer” trucks are scrap metal. 🤷🏼♂️
Waiting to see what the next gen Tundra without the V8 offers....I will consider the V6 if it's at least 24-26 mpg, 10-12k towing or more, 1500-1800 payload or more. If not, I'll will be looking for a 2021 TRD pro
Love Tundra trucks... but, I feel there still aren't as many features. I know you're paying for the quality and the longevity of Toyota. It's tough to spend 60k+ on a truck when you step into another truck and look around you'll end up saying "I don't have that. Or that. Or that".
@@Randellro111 Thank you!! It's about driving one of the most, if not, the most reliable truck on the road! Japanese auto manufactures will always own the american auto manufactures!!
This truck would look perfect, I’d put on bigger tires and take those tube style steps off and throw on some sliders just not a fan of those tube style sets with a big gap in between the step and the body. Just looks awkward but EVERYTHING ELSE about this blacked out tundra is PERFECT.
Great truck and excellent review! The only bad thing I’ve read is they no longer have a transmission cooler and lots of issues with fluid getting too hot even w/out towing much weight. Be prepared to spend a grand to add one and hope you don’t have warranty issues.
Lmao at the guys saying “its so outdated” “it looks plain” you guys can enjoy the fancy touch screens and interior when the tow truck is coming to pick you guys up in you’re shitty fords and dodges😂😂
Exactly what i have been saying!!! I'll take the reliability of Toyota over all those american auto manufactures, especially GM, hah! Whoever at GM though that putting a inline 4 cylinder turbo inside of a big truck was a good idea needs to be fired like years ago hahaha!!! Oh, not to mention Ford, their so called: "Ecoboost" engines, terrible engineers, like what are you people thinking, or as I can prove, these american auto manufactures have employees who literally get high while working lmao hahaha!!
Owned 3 fords last 15+ years never failed on the road. 15' f150, just fluid changes. Have had rear defroster stop & the auxillary transmission pump fail at 15k miles...the pump is used specifically for autostop/start. Older 2 fords were rangers. RAM & ford is my choice over chevy, toyota has my interest, but they are a little more outdated & fuel economy & performance isn't as good, not to say that toyota isn't good with quality, but you get a sporty feeling on ford & RAM
I bought the 2020 tundra trd pro. Same color love the truck, i still need spray in liner done, but i have the tri fold hard top and runners on already.
Are those bed lights the ones that they put in the Tacoma? Tundras dont have lights in the bed. Was thinking about putting the tacoma lights in the bed of the tundra
I love the studs! That's badass. The red needs to go though. Can of spray paint will work temporarily but enhance it with some 18" rims & it would be sexu as fuck.
If there are this many good jobs in this country to sell trucks at these prices, we are being lied to about everything else. I mean they have to keep selling these trucks at stupide prices in order to stay in busineess right? so they need a fairly steady and consistent flow of selling these. Wish I could get a decent truck for the things i like to do, but these prices are BS. Even worse for the smaller midsize trucks. Had a horrible experience on buying a used truck not to long ago and that has been a utter night mare and will not trust another used vehicle again. I was ripped off by a crooked ass Nissan dealer, Wallace Nissan in Kingsport Tenn to be exact. those price quotes are not really honest, With out even looking i can tell you that those prices shown for the trim levels are non 4 wheel drive trucks.
Really.....Toyota.......Guess I will just keep driving the Nissan Frontier........until Toyota have a TRD PRO in 6" bed.......Don't try to convince me to get the lower trims....
Like my wife says looks like something out of a bus..... too squared of an interior design, and the steering wheels ugly. I can't get behind that, such a shame too considering the exterior is a good looking truck. Guess I'll keep OLE reliable 06 DC 4X4, gets better gas mileage anyways.
ugly ass leather "apartment" style leather, though. It looks cheap. I saw one yesterday and was disappointed. Even the shifter feels like it will break off.
Lmao horrible gas mileage toyota needs to update that dinosaur of an engine. This interior is outdated and nothing special for what you're paying. When compared to the new f150s this thing looks like a tractor lol.
Maybe people want Japanese reliability/top 10 resale value and not american junk! Ford is no where to be seen in 10 ten truck for reliability/good resale value, ford most time its spend at the dealership getting repair
People dont buy trucks for Mpg. Any regular v8 in its class has the same or comparable gas milage. And fords quality has gone to shit . Dont you think tundras have had the same powertrain for 14 years for a reason?
