I'd think that 1.5L capacity in a 3 cylinder form factor apparently mitigates power to weight ratios hence the exceptional response on the road, versus a 4 cylinder type engine block.
Bro, can include the passenger rear seat space and headroom review in your future vidz. Also, if possible share more on the HU unit, as in got Android Auto or Apple Carplay. Overall, you doing a great video
never tried the non hybrid so I can't say . i believe borneo motors only brings in the hybrid version. to get the non hybrid u will have to get it through a PI
If u know what the whole motto of Toyota stands for u will understand ' nice' and ' plush' interior quality aloje does mean it is good or long lasting. Toyota is alittle ' thrifty ' on the choice of materials used for their cabon but have u ever hear squeak or funny sounds coming from any Toyota cars interior after owning it for years?
Driven the old altis. Dashboard is soft touch but it starts to smell after a few years of sun tanning. But you're right, no squeaks. My 2 year told Honda squeaking laike a ratatouie
I was shopping for a car for my wife earlier this year, and the Yaris Cross was shortlisted. Test drove it, but didn't like it for the below reasons: 1. Engine feels lethargic and coarse 2. Interior material and build quality felt cheap Ended up buying a Mazda 2 for her. PS: mazda 2 is a fantastic car! Do review it if you have a the chance.
Are you referring to the cvt drone ? Yes that and some small vibrations makes the Yaris cross feel less refined. Agree with you on the material build. If u viewed this car and immediately went to Kia/Mazda showroom to check out their cars, first difference you’ll notice would probably be the look and feel of the interior
@@CarLifeSG The GB is a letdown too. But the engine felt rough when pushing hard. Totally agree with you on Kia. Both Kia and Hyundai have come a long way, built quality and driving dynamics have improved a lot. For the same money, they feel better than most Japanese cars in the same price bracket. Would love to get my wife a Kia or Hyundai, but she only likes Japanese cars. Not even German 😅 Btw I drive a Giulia. Keen to review my car once HA is over?
Wow she has very specific taste. And most girls I know can’t even differentiate between a Japanese and Korean car 👏🏻 Definitely! Do you mind dropping an email to sgcarlife@gmail.com so we can link up? Thanks 🙏
Thank you! When I put my foot down, there wasnt any lag - the car just picked up and went. However I only got it up to about 90/100 kmh so I’m not sure how it will fare after that. But from experience with small engines, it will usually run out of “juice” after hitting those speeds
Hey guys, if U Want Power ,then Go for Maserati , U could Fly To D Moon. Logically, it's Only A Transportation Bringing U Point A to B. Good Doesn't Mean Cheap, Cheap Doesn't Mean Good .!
Test drive this car 2weeks ago at ubi BM before July first Coe This car is selling 145888 Interior mostly cheap hard plastic with hairy fabric at door panel Quite cramp n the 1.5l engine is so weak n noisy
Agreed. Gear lever has a Similar feel with the Raize Haha my foot was on brake at all times. Can’t risk it. I think the RR plate itself could cost as much as the Yaris
THANKS I HAVE ADDED YOU TO "MY RU-vid" CHANNEL THE PLAYLIST ON THE YARIS CROSS AWD / MYSELF I HAVE THE RAV4 HYBRID AWD AND A PLAYLIST OF THIS IS ON "MY RU-vid" CHANNEL GREAT CONTENT Frank MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA
This is a demo/media car shared by many people. So I put my mask over my mouth to prevent any saliva/droplets to get on to the interior panels of the car when I’m talking, especially on common touch points like the steering wheel and gear lever. Better to be safe
