I think Roy was wrong with Jamie. Sometimes when he's under pressure he becomes spiteful. Love him but arguing why Madrid let Reguilon go is ridiculous. Leeds let Cantona go. Oldham let Irwin go. Norwich let Bruce go. And all for not much money. Everyone is let go and gets rejected at some point. Keane didn't get a contract on his first trip to England and had to go back home. So being sold or not getting a contract doesn't mean you're finished.

Thats the danger with being brave enough to speak your mind, though. You can often look a fool. To be fair to Keane, i think his dislike for Liverpool clouded his judgement a bit. Anyone could see the foundations were there and that they definitely werent going "nowhere". Now that Keane has witnessed Liverpool's incredible resurgence he speaks with respect and clear admiration for them, despite indicating where his loyalties lay. I think he himself would now say that comment was more in hope than actual certainty lol.

What was the reasoning for bringing up the Troubles? He grew up in Cork which was down the South of Ireland. Everyone knows that Ireland hasn't got the best facilities they've never done exceptionally well in International competition. He did pretty good as a manager his only problem was when he had disagreements with ownership and when you don't agree with the owners, there's little you can do.
Bad champions 🥱 Keane is talking shit. They were decimated by injuries one first team player Robertson was the only first team regular not injured all season and most of the injuries were long term.
