Welcome back Jerms. I had one of these before in my semi and of course the ration heater didn’t work lol. So I ate a cold patty on cold tortillas and got bbq all over my shirt in a spare truck lol and well wasn’t the best experience haha. Need to try it hot one of these days I think I have another one some where. Ohh wait I gave it to you I forgot haha. I’m sure I still have a spare one a couple years older my brother in law gave me tho haha. Thanks for the shout again. Watching now 😎 I cut them right down the middle long ways and threw them on a tortilla. I feel like this meal would be 5. Times better if it was boiled in the pouch or the ration heater actually worked most of the time like it should

Putting all of the ingedients together is clearly the way to go, creating a quite complex and complimentary taste. But the key thing to realising this is cutting up the beef steak/patty, which you did. When you cut it up, the lightbulb comes on. Like ahah!

Right on.. I've had that meal. I like the Bill Brew coffee but the cookies suck. Too damn dry. I did find that dipping them in the coffee helped a lot. Also.. the FRH's rarely worked. Thanks for the video
Very cool Jerms. These used to be awesome. Seems they are still pretty good. Older ones used to have snack bread, usually stale. Personally, I like the tortilla concept. Mix it all together, agreed. So, the older menu 19s from 2013 to 2017 were quite different. They came with a special and rare twin wheat snack bread pack, a packet of ketchup and mustard and something else instead of the au gratin potatoes (I can't recall what it was but no potatoes in the older ones). The idea was to make a literal cheeseburger out of a bag. The ketchup and mustard packets were awesome and were Heinz branded! Not some generic stuff. They switched over to the tortillas with a BBQ sauce pack in 2018 (I believe was the year) instead of twin wheat snack bread because the cheeseburger was just WAY too messy. And yes, each piece was a bit thinner than regular wheat snack bread. It is a separate single component and not just two packs of regular wheat snack bread. I have had both versions of this menu and although both are pretty good, I prefer the tortilla wrap version better. It tastes better with BBQ sauce and I am glad you added the fake mayo to the mix and clearly you were happy with the results, as was I. Most people just toss it without even trying it, which is understandable, but it usually has a way to enhance the flavor of something in the meal. Could add it to the potatoes maybe. Would have to try it to see how it is. Both new and old versions of this menu came with the bacon cheese spread, but only the newer one comes with the BBQ sauce and mayo. I find the cheeseburger version to be way too messy. Funny. Exactly the reason they stopped making them that way. I also really liked the au gratin potatoes. If heated up right, they actually come out melted and creamy. I ate my potatoes separate, but next time I eat a newer menu 19, I am definitely going to add them to the mix like you did. Oh yeah and definitely good call breaking up the beef patty. I think they should remake and rename this menu to something else, but keep the components the same except have the beef patty already broken up. This could very easily pass as "jalapeno pepper jack beef wraps" or something like that instead of just beef patty. Kind of vague actually. I wasn't sure what I was getting in to the first time I ate one of these, as I had never seen it reviewed first. Anyway, great review as always!
I am going to try and find one with the WSB. Now that I've had this one, I really need to try that one! I can't decide if the jalapeno cheese spread would be better than the bacon. At first I thought so but that bacon cheese gave a bit of smoke, which I liked. I like the idea of renaming the menu. It makes more sense! Thanks for always being here CB! I appreciate you!
@@jermsMRE Both versions of Menu 19 include bacon cheese spread. Sometime in 2018 they started making the menu 19 with the wraps. So If you want a twin wheat snack bread burger, find one from 2017 or earlier. Only problem is, that was 7 years ago and perhaps even older depending on what year the one you get was made. Stuff isn't gonna be as fresh but I had one from 2013 and it was completely fine! The heater even worked good. Anyway, I would love to see you try the older burger style version!
