I had this menu as a newer production date and the Au Gratin potatoes I had with it were absolutely delicious! The older meals that are eaten nowadays have the potatoes spoil and go bad. What do you expect from 25+ year old food? That is literally where all the negative feedback comes from Au Gratin potatoes in MREs. I did really like the wraps though. The two pieces of wheat snack bread included in the older version of this menu to make a burger were cool but it made an epic mess and it was very hard to eat! The tortillas included in the newer version of this menu are much neater and I like the barbecue sauce included instead of ketchup and mustard. They fat free mayonnaise is miracle whip and is not really mayonnaise. it is more like salad dressing but it did add to the flavor of the wraps I made. You really should have broken up the beef patty into small pieces or strips and spread it over the two tortillas and made actual wraps. I absolutely love the new Menu 19. It is one of my top favorites.
Bread has too much water content which over time will lower expiration date. Tortillas can me made with enough salt content to stay fresh. Source: I work in food distribution

the heaters in the American rations suck most time they barley work I don't care if there new all the mre reviews I see of foreign mres the heaters work super great make the food almost to hot to handle
We may all be eating out of these bags soon the way this world is going now? MRE's might be our future so best learn what is out there and what to look for as to whats bad, going bad and what is still edible and date codes. I enjoy watching and am subscribed, take care and God bless😇
