Da possessore della 8 GTD posso confermare che VW è colata veramente a picco nell'allestimento degli interni, aggiungo che l'elettronica lagga paurosamente, e tralascio la descrizione degli esterni per dignità mia. Ma sopratutto il piacere di guida è ZERO rispetto alla 7.5 GTD che ho avuto ed era fatta molto bene, le zone morte della sterzata sono vergognose. I cerchi modello Adelaide fanno pietà. Non mi piace proprio l'andazzo che ha preso VW, ormai monta volanti uguali per tutti i segmenti dalla Polo al Touareg, Dopo quest'acquisto errato, confesso che sarà l'ultima VW. Un auto standard ad un prezzo premium.

I'm suprised that you don't have any noticable wheel spin in first gear. That traction control seems to work really well. My 190hp Passat B8 TDI is horrible to launch.

In fact, my Passat is only 150 hp and much less torque than yours and it spins like shit at the front if you launch it. It doesn't really bother me as I didn't buy it for speed, obviously but there's definitely a different set up in this golf

Nice acceleration but I think the tacho lies by quite a lot (10+ km/h) so around 240 gps top speed realistically maybe less

Guess its alright for those of us in the UK as we Dont need that 8th gear but for others the MPG would have been more efficient if there was an 8th Gear and you’re on the Top End of the speed limit. Getting one or rather I have pre-ordered one and its a 22 week waiting list. I guess because of the horrible touchscreen not many have gone for the 8 and thus the 7&7.5 are keeping their values

There are accessories for the microphone to remove wind noise. that is, if you use a real camcorder or other camera where you can connect a separate microphone

@@leobk1755 on Flat Road is about 255 kmh, downhill maybe 260 or limited at 262 kmh, Golf 8 GTI is limited at 262 kmh, Golf 8 R maybe 270 kmh limiter. Fastest golf i drove was golf 7 GTI TCR and i did hit almost 290 kmh

i expected more from this engine on Golf 8 in terms of performance and consumption !! 6,7 seconds are basically result what got mercedes C class and Bmw 3 with something weaker engines on 200kg more weight and consumption is not something good vs them too
