I’m sorry for the loss of your grandma and not being about to go to the funeral. I pray all the health issues in your family have been resolved for the better. I’m so grateful for you and your husband sharing your life and all the beauty of Hong Kong. After watching almost all but maybe three of your videos, this one really touched me. Hi Sam!!!! I know you've been alluding to how difficult it's been the past few months on IG and here - you're definitely not alone. I think you're definitely valid in feeling even more stuck because of HK restrictions. Sending you much love and strength - your candor is really consoling to others like myself out there! That we're not alone. I think 2021 definitely was a year of more splurges and treats and honestly we've deserved it. I think it's also been helpful for me to feel a little better by helping out communities who are struggling with COVID (like donating for food to be distributed to areas like Vietnam where they got locked down and folks don't have resources) to continue to feel like we're tackling this big problem. It's def still hard though and a struggle to feel any sort of motivation.

💓💓 praying your 2022 is full of peace and healing!

Totally feel your breakdown. I work 9-6 in HK and haven't been able to travel for almost 2 years. One day when I was walking home from work, thinking how tired and frustrated in the past 2 years of lockdown, suddenly there is a huge voice in my head telling me "just quit your job and fly out of HK forever". The mental challenge is uneasy.

It’s totally fine to show your emotion as we all human being. For the past 2 years, most time locked down WFH and with kids, really drive me crazy to the max. As no where else can run to, change some mindset and trying to calm myself (before turning into crazy mum). Things will get better in 2022 and we all look forward!

Made coffee and sat down to watch your vlog. 😁 Yes, 2020 felt like it's " just this year" and after all will be over. And in 2021 reality hit us and it was clear we are still going to be stuck. The feeling of being stuck is so relatable and having a change of settings is definitely real therapy, I totally understand you!! Don't feel bad for being sad because of this, you are not the only one feeling it. In case someone figured a way out of this feelings maybe they will share it in the comments section 👀🤞🏻😅 What's up with women being angry at someone's expensive hobbies? Men have expensive hobbies all the time, watches, gandgets, motorcycles and so on and are not judged. Why should women be ashamed of this?!... just ridiculous. Show us more Chanel, Gucci, Loui 🤑 And your talking skills in front of the camera are really enjoyable. So true and can totally relate. I am usually fueled by travel but even domestic travel here within Canada comes with uncertainty. 2022 is starting with a swift kick in the ass too with Omicron but staying optimistic. I have family in HK and would love to visit but the quarantine deal is just too much right now.

Feel exactly the same as I moved to HK at the end of 2019 …. It’s just really hard to stay happy and have an opened mind about things you can’t control anymore ( the quarantine ) even thought of going back to Paris because of the feeling of being stuck here

I know this isn't a video to agree on something, but something you said I completely agree with. 2021 was hard. 2021 was worse for me than 2020. There was so many things that by the time it was October I was like, wake me up when 2021 ends. I'm so glad I'm not alone even though I wouldn't wish all the crap i went through upon anyone! It was too much. I've been beyond my breaking point for many many many weeks now. Thank you for sharing!

Totally understand what you mean about being "stuck" here in HK, I feel the same. I haven't progressed since 2020, my life is the same (I've already had like 3 midlife crisis') We're not getting any younger & I totally know what you mean when someone asks you "what did you eat yesterday" & I have to look at my photo gallery to remember. I think it's good that you're keeping active physically & mentally (you're way more productive than me) & you have good people surrounding you. I don't mind you rambling on, it's your channel, you should say what you want to say. You're making great content, don't stop what you're doing!
