In my city price difference between Fz25 and dominar250 is 20k , I'm 6 feet Tall I want a all rounder bike , is dominar250 is still worthy to buy by paying extra 20k??
Bro, This machine is perfect in reliability, fuel economy, torque delivery and in comfort also. The Most Underated practical bike in segment. I completed 26k kms. Still getting 45-52kmpl mileage.
Damn. The NS200 and RTR200 are way more pricier in Bangalore. In mumbai they both cost RSs. 20-22k less. Even the duke's price is somewhere between 2.09lacs in Mumbai.
Since I like to look on the road while riding, I don't mind that basic instrument cluster. 😅 A fancy one would definitely be better, but the current one shouldn't be a deal breaker. FZS25 is a great naked-tourer that will never let you down.
I own a Black BS6 FZ25. Bought it in October, 2020. Have done 5k on the ODO. Till the First Service (1000 kms), bike was absolutely a Mesmerising experience. But, after the 1st service came up the Crackling Coin sound from the engine. Dealer said it is natural for a FZ25. I accepted. Then the rear tire air pressure loss started. There is no puncture in it. Dealer says the tire is faulty and the procedure is to take it to MRF dealership and place a complaint. Did that 3 weeks ago. Still awaiting a response from MRF. Meanwhile, am taking it everyday to fill up the air. In 24 hours it goes down from 40psi to 10psi. Mileage claimed maybe anything but on highways the Max that I get is 35 ( I generally ride between 90 to 110 kmph on Nashik Mumbai 6 lane expressway) Accessories are not at all available with Yamaha. Still waiting for my helmet, Main stand ( yes this bike comes without a main stand and you have to buy it as a accessory) They boast more and serve less. I am actually regretting buying this. The engine is extremely noisy, Front forks are noisy and too stiff. Rear ABS aren't reliable, they act too much and at times the braking is not effective at all I Should have opted for Dominar instead. Learn from my experience guys. Not worth at all 🙏

Also check for steel prices over last 5 years...they haven't doubled like the prices of every bike. Do you know Activa deluxe 125cc costs 96k 😂. That's a scooter man . 😂 Just robbing the common man . that's it
I bought D-250 in October last year, have already done 5000+ kms, and I must say it's a amazing machine. I bought it on the recommendation of Vikrant 🎉.
Hey man, it's good in traffic but don't except it to be like a traffic cutter, you will get use to the weight in few days. The problem is when you park it on inclined plane. Milage is around 30-32 kmpl.
Well the new FZ-S 25 is a very good option in the 250 cc. The design looks good and aggressive.Its a great bike for city use and touring,its efficient, wish that it could have get more performance just like dominar 250 and a sixth gear to . Also instrument cluster could have been updated especially considering the fact that smaller 150cc fz gets a Bluetooth connectivity. Still overall its good bike. Does the Yamaha FZ-S 25 can be customized with new colours just like seen on the MT 15?
I bought Dominar 250 in August, shortly after Vikrant's review. It's a brilliant machine and I'm really satisfied with it after done almost 5k kms. It ticks all the boxes for touring needs. I had Fz25 bs4, of my friend for a tour and though very comfortable in city confines, it leaves wanting you more on highway, the major portion of any tour. Modification : Swapped the tyres with Apollo alphas.

Ohh FZ25 has no 6th gear and possibly even 7th gear 😛.. Ohh Yamaha should have given the FZ25 a liquid cooling engine and a paper spec of 30Ps@12000rpm!!!.. Yamaha doesn't know to engineer a bike you see.. novice bike maker still 😏
@@deckardshaw7270 Yamaha gives you a very happy engine. I mean low maintenance, and a reliable engine . Definitely Dominar has a very good head lamp but if you looking for a all rounder machine then just go for it.
@@sjcreation2208 yep going for dominar 250 next month... If Yamaha added better head lamps, better instrument cluster and 6th gear..(not much necessary) i would have gone for fz25 even if its cost around 2.1lk
2-3 negatives I feel , rest all positive . Instrument cluster, and USB charging, and quality of switch with inclusion of hazard light on switch gear only (not from mobile). And frame improvement for enhanced cornering.
The prices for both Yamaha FZS 25 and Dominar 250 have dropped significantly. I am getting the former for 1.63 on road whereas the latter is costing me around 1.78. I feel FZs is the ideal choice. I am ready to compromise a bit of features like lesser power and torque or the instrument cluster for 15K lesser price
lol at 1.9lacks its not worth it at all...the Pulsar 220 does everything the fz25 does but at 1.55 lacks. Similar power with cheaper maintenance and higher fuel economy. The fz25 should have been priced not more than 1.65 lacks
Yamaha India (India Yamaha Motor) management is a team of backbenchers. Always behind the trend and times. Times have changed. Honda dished out a revolutionary CB350 H'ness to rival RE. Honda was the first one to capture the scooter revolution in India. Now Honda dishing out CB350 H'ness has given sleepless nights to RE, the sales of Meteor have dropped in JANUARY as compared to December sales. CB350 H'ness on the other hand even though the showrooms are less, their sales have sky rocketed when compared with respect to the number of showrooms in existence (i.e Accessibility or the reach of the product to the customer). Yamaha is stuck in 150cc - majority of products and 250cc for namesake, Yamaha doesn't want to take the initiative of being the aggressor to take trend reversing steps.
If I m buying any bike at 2 lakh cost range then I will put my hard earned money only if the manufacturer gives me 1) Very Comfortable Seat and seating Posture 2) Very comfortable Suspension 3) Decent Power, Torque, Average which is at par with competition of similar segment 4) Safety with Dual Channel ABS 5) Very good tyres with good grip on roads during all seasons. 6) Liquid Cool FI Engine 7) No Vibrations 8) Looks and Features would be only an added advantage

For just 9-10K more on road , you'll get a much better motorcycle, The Gixxer 250 Edit: I totally forgot Suzuki India hiked the price of their bikes while writing the comment so the difference is now around 15-16K depending where you live in, Sorry for that😔
Gixxer 250 is 22K more than FZ25 on road Bangalore!!.. 1.97 Lacs on road Bangalore Vs 2.19 lacs.. which is a big difference in price.. It's not any 9-10K!!..
Now the price of Fzs25 reduces Rs.19000/-(approx.) lesser than before the price. So, I think this is the best affordable 250cc Naked Tourer motorcycle, which competes with Pulsar NS 200 and Apache RTR 200 4V. And for 250cc motorcycle, this would be the best affordable motorcycle, it won't able to compete with other 250cc motorcycles. Before that Yamaha FZ25 & FZS25 bs6 bikes were not selling before the BS4 FZ25, because of overpriced. So, Yamaha had done a great job regarding to Customers feedback, which some of the FZ25 lovers can't able to afford because of this Issue. Hats off to @YamahaMotorIndia for reducing the price of FZ25 & FZS25 on behalf of BS6 emission norms... 🤝🤝🤝🤝👏👏👏👏👏
I think the main problem with this instrument cluster is that yamaha not optimised is very well and you have to toggle continuously for various info I mean there is a space for permanent clock but sadly u have to toggle for that
I m that kind of person who likes to stretch every gear and hearing a sporty exhaust sound , best handling to handle any zig zag move , my hight is 5.4 Will it suite me ?
