Bad point of Yamaha .....meter console or bulb indigator ...all are okk ...but this feature update Yamaha thn i buy this bike it's my dream bike ...like share or subscribe my channel for upcoming this bike video
bought this baby a month back, honest review : 1. It is a looker ! you will get all the attention you need ! 2. A very lightweight machine ! Nimble in traffic like a 150cc ! 3. Torque on this thing is a USP ! lifts-off even on 4-5th gear with ease ! 4. That growly engine & exhaust note makes you feel like riding all day long ! 5. Yes, maybe the lack of 6th gear will be felt on highways while cruising but anyways not a deal-breaker for sure! 6. Headlights have a decent throw however for night rides, go for additional aux lights. 7. Heats up a bit in the stop & go traffic scenarios! But on highways, never! 8. Cruising speed -> 90-110kmph all day long! 8. That small display misses some bits of info but keeping your eyes on the road is more important, so anyways ignore that part ;) 9. A total VFM package! Keep the road limits & ride safe! Any bike in b\w 80-110kmph is good enough for the kind of road infrastructures we have here in India! Ciao
The last paragraph is so important. Everyone talks about highest speed. As if we got Autobahn in India. 70-80 kmph me chalanese bhi darr lagta hai. Koi gandu na side se ajaye. Let's not forget about 'papa ki pari' 🤣🤣
forget about it.this engine doesnt support 6 speed gear box because is outdated. Also have you ever heard companies work with their gear boxes and increase or decrease number of gears? simply never.
Yamaha is charging too much for this bike .. at least they can provide, 1. 6th gear 2. Bigger instrument console with some more added features 3. full LED set up
I don't understand the strategy of Yamaha....they are equipping the MT 15 very well ... providing bigger console , better brakes , oil cooling system , vva etc....but not providing those features in this bike....😌🤨why to pay more...i don't understand....MT also does a top speed of 135km/h
@@monkeymi4912 everything is good in mt15 but, lack of pillion comfort... Ye MC Yamaha wale chutiya hain, 1. R15 lacks riding & pillion comfort (reason sports bike) but, others things are perfectly OK.. 2.same engine, power, features available in MT 15 & riding comfort is just perfect but, lack of pillion comfort... 3. Riding comfort, pillion comfort is absolutely perfect in FZS 25 but, lack of features, power & out dated engine ... Ok..As a tourer bike it's acceptable of lack of Power & out dated 2Valve engine.. but at least they can provide 6th gear & a bigger instrument console having some added features... Bcoz, all bike are comes almost in same price tag...
@@natraj4788 fz25 bs4 mt se sasti thi but ab vo vfm factor gayab ho chuka he.this thing looks way less equipped and dated(for what we are paying) compared to its rivals like dominar250 gixxer250 and even mt15.
Yamaha are and will never invest and do r&d in a high performance 250cc-350cc single cylinder bikes.. Its just not in their priority. They have the twin cylinder R25/R3 MT25/03 and thats it...nothing more, nothing less. And besides, its typical of Japanese manufacturers to dump their old/outdated models here in India... Barring India, South east asian markets like Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore get new and exciting two-wheeled products from the Japanese big four.. Thats the way the cookie crumbles for us Indians.
Good of yamaha India trying to provide us a high performance 250cc, super 20bhp, hi-tech 2 valve sohc, air cooled(with oil cooler of course) engine, double cradle frame(better than the deltabox frame), at an affordable price. Much better than their bread and butter 155cc vva engine.
Most relaiable engine. 0 to 100 accleraion,ohh my god. I am a die hard fan of this mechine. Perfect bike for NEPAL and LADAKH tour.....no matters lack of 6th gear. This bike is a torque nature bike and power out put is super.....After all its a YAMAHA......exhaust sound like a double cylinder bike.......one thing set up your mind....no one bike is perfect,you should make it perfect. Fz 25 can't be judged based on spec sheet. It doesn't get liquid cooling, but air cooling does the job. Its performance is similar to mt 15, but due to higher displacement the compression would be lower. No bike in quarter litre segment does offer the comfort which it does. Its tank range of >450km it is go to tool for touring. The ride feel of fz is unparalleled. It can be only bike in your garage.
LOL i can understand ur pain under your positive list but sach kadwi hoti hai bhai.... , accept the thing that it doesn't justify the price with specs.. no value for money motorcycle...it's a joke motorcycle ... dominar 250 is better than it .
My husband is looking for a bike for city & long ride (planning to go to Ladakh and Sach Pass). He has shortlisted two bikes and confused. 1. Royal Enfield Classic Gunmetal Grey: Muscular look and vintage feel but got feedback that this is not reliable machine. Some and other parts demands continous repairing. 2. Bajaj Dominar 250: A complete package with all modern facilities but Bajaj bikes have bad name of producing noise after couple of years. 3. Yamaha FZ25: Yamaha engine has lowest failure rate. You can trust this machine on long rides. Please share your feedback, so that it can help to take decision.
It doesn't need one. Adding sixth will make the torque curve to be non linear and will dilute the acceleration. 120 is the sweet spot which is more than enough for Indian Road conditions
I dont like even dominar 400 in front of this machine, so no question for Dominar 250 in terms of ridability. And what a premium color as Audi and Mercedes 😍 Balance combination of Simplicity, Power and mileage only missing with 6th gear.
It only hits a top speed of 130 KMPH for a 250 CC ? The other day I saw your review on Hornet 2.0. Maybe Hornet is a better choice b/w FZ250 and Hornet. Otherwise Gixxer 250 is a better option
Hornet 2.0 is a 184 Cc motorcycle without an OILCOOLER , Dual channel ABS and Slipper clutch but horribly over priced on par with 200 Cc bikes @ 1.52 lakhs.. Hornet 2.0 is not even equipped with a Paper type Engine oil filter to reduce engine the Oil condensation. Hornet 2.0 is not at all a good option..
@@alanjoe749 Fzs25 is the lightest bike in the 250 Cc segment with low power figures on spec sheet but it must be noted that Fz has very good Power/Weight ratio advantage when compared with other bikes in 250 Cc segment ..
Sure mahn ,with d bs6 version there is only 15 k difference between the naked Gixxer 250 and Fz25 , extra 15k for gixxer is definitely worth it . 1.6 gear 2.oil cooling 3.more power and torque 4.better instrument console.
The videos he makes are quite nice but I dont get the part where he says "signature style" in the every video. I mean what are you doing different from what others are doing that makes it signature ? Funny but the videos offer good information :)
it is a disappointment of a bike .. seriously ... for the price they are asking, it is better to buy hornet 2.0 that we can call a good upgrade, this is just different paint scheme. I took test ride and the vibes are just too much. the engine is 2 decade old, the meter console, better to put a masking tape on it and cover it, provides no useful information, not pleasing to look at. For a premium price this bike is absolutely not premium at all. Full form of FZ=neglected bike. the bs4 version is still vfm but not this anymore.when one sits on the bike, it should scream "2 lakh" but it screams 80k commuter bike. and with the chappri paint schemes it just doesn't cut it anymore.I was hoping for a good "upgrade" but it seems this is all we get.
Seriously man.this bike seems way more overpriced after the bs6 upgrade.untill then its was okay for what it was offering,i had no complaints but when i heard the bs6 prices i immediately started looking for other options. As u said the hornet 2.0 feels better package than this. Especially that engine.it goes wayy back
@@ajayshokeen1138 they are only giving cc...I meant there is more to a bike than cc..if you see the Hondas in person the quality is top notch.. take the meter console for example...that is the thing you see when you sit on the bike...the fz25 feels like an old calculator screen poorly lit. Take a look at the hornet 2.0 meter console...it's beautiful...I agree lot of difference between 180 and 250cc but fz25's 250cc engine isn't something to boast about...check the Suzuki Gixxer 250's engine...it's amazing..there is technology refinement...power.. I just feel the bike desperately needs an upgrade the competition is way ahead..

Bro should I buy fzs 25 or meteor 350 ....I m from hill area of Himachal Pradesh and 20% off road ...I want more pulling capacity on uphill area with pillion..plz suggest me better choice.
Everything is fine ..I wonder why YAMAHA does not improve on side mirrors...everything is wonderful the color scheme the hand protection guards Nice DRL and Projector Lamp head light...BUT the side mirrors look EL- CHEAPO...Bajaj on the other hand offers much higher quality in DOMINAR range..when will yamaha learn that side mirrors and good quality are as important as a good quality helmet and they can at any time protect a person's life..Realy appreciate your work and specially Vocabulary..God bless you
Product is fantastic but service is worst from YAMAHA here in Hyderabad. Tried couple of service centres but still not satisfied. Dinesh sir, suggest a good service centre as you use R3.
This bike is built for the people who love to ride and maintain , mostly for its refinement, well it's not fast as others but that torque might be enough for roads in India with that superb handling. Bit of flaws but still a good one .add a bixenon light and light up the long night rides.
*Top speed at 130! The Hornet 2.0 with 180cc engine does similar top speed of 126kmph. Its way better looking too! FZ25 doesn't perform like a 250cc bike at all! Just look how Gixxer Sf 250 or Cbr250 performs!! Hornet 2.0 from Honda seems to be a better package*
Sir.. What would you say about Apache RR310 for its use for touring.. I know its more on sporty side n not touring.. But is it an option to consider?? Also my budget is bit tight so cant go abv 2.7L n i dont want the Duke390 😅.
@@vinodhkumar2402 what you are saying is partly true.. I have ridden the Apache 310 for 600 kms in one stretch and i have not felt any pain in my arms n shoulders.. Not any discomfort in seating and posture.. Dominar is a good option but looking at the weight n less features.. Its like one would have to think a 100 times first 😅 cos why not put more money n go for all upgraded and more future proof bike.. After all one would be putting their hard earned money for a bike and ride it for atleast few yrs minimum..
