Given the cost savings of a hookless construction you would think some of that would be reflected in the consumer price? Not against hookless, have been riding the 303s for a long time now and am very happy with them but 3200 is just on the wrong side of ridiculous.

These wheels cost the same as a really good high-mid level road bike. In CAD these go for $5500 plus taxes. You can get wheels by Hunt, HED or Winspace for a fraction of the cost that will provide as good performance. I guess there are some brand weenies, or folks with REALLY deep pockets that will validate Zipp's marketing and pay these ridiculous prices. But I think Zipp has missed the mark here. I can't imagine there is a huge retail market for $5000 wheels. All of that said, it was a great review David....and love your honesty at the end of the clip.

@@Stevenafoe I don't think we'll ever see a comparison video like that. Most of the content on here is provided by channels that have enough exposure to get the big brands to make available their products for testing and reviews so that people will buy their products. If mainstream RU-vidrs were to run a video that shows the true absolutely marginal gains by paying 4x the price for the brand wheels - I'm sure that their access to branded gear would dry up pretty quickly.
