Yeah its pretty good and I do like it but I really do prefer the Motodynamic setup which costs less and is more plug and play than TST. It irritates me that I have to change the flasher, Motodynamic has this all solved in the integrated tail light itself and you dont have to change anything. Also comes with license plate light which is a nice value add. Also Motodynamic is cheaper.
Hello, question for TST rear light. Did you just use the relay and then installed the intergrade plug and play. Or do I need the extra hardness splitter. Not planning to install back the OEM turn signal. Thanks great video.
I just put the same light on my 2021 zx6r and the programmable taillight also effects how the taillight works when you press the brakes, I think there is 9 modes
Yeah I discovered that after I played with it a bit and will try to address that in the final review. Sometimes I just get way out ahead of myself when these parts come in and I rush to get them on and recorded....I miss some details...and perhaps I dont read the instructions very well haha. I appreciate that insight and thank you!!
Good catch, no I didn't. I thought it'd come with the setup but it does not. This is why I usually go with Motodynamic. No need to change out the flasher, all plug and play and they include the license plate light. Overall a much higher quality system and amazingly it costs quite a bit less also. TST's solution is "OK" and it works just fine, I like the looks of it...but if I had to do over again I'd go with Motodynamic! Thank you for the question!
Hopefully you have a battery tender on the battery so you don't have to go through all that craziness of taking off the seat to charge the battery!! 😂😂Didn't you know as soon as you start recording cars, kids, dogs and such start making noise 😂😂😂 Great Job the bike is looking good!
Luckily I do have a tender on it so I've got that going for me haha. I love making vids in my garage but unfortunately when my neighbors see me out there they all decide to mow their lawns and some kind of public announcement gets made so that every car in my area drives down the street!!! Thanks SJ for the compliment on the bike. I'm still working through my love/hate relationship with this one :).
@@StormtrooperRides I have one neighbor like that, they see the cameras come out and all the sudden have to do yard work or the kids start screaming really loud LMAO! I think with most bikes sometimes it's a love/hate relationship lol!
I have the baby sister of your bike. Man I love it. I was going to buy that same bike but then thought to myself when can I ever use all that power. And the truth is never unless I am running from the state trooper lol. But I love my 636 on the track. What exhaust will you go with?
yeah MauiMan you are absolutely correct...for me this is just a love affair with these bikes. I know I'm not capable of riding any of the bikes we have to their performance potential BUT I love having the opportunity to ride them...sometimes fast 😁... and share them with you guys! Thank you for the comment and that 636 you have is indeed awesome! Exhaust news coming soon!!
yeah I agree! you'd think though that the manufacturers would think that through a little though and design these tails with that in mind. I realize some people leave these things on but why not implement a quick release on these things and use a pressure contact or something to drive the electronics? Thanks William for dropping in and for your continued support!!
I ordered most of those parts from TST directly. tstindustries.com/kawasaki-ninja-zx10r-2021/ . The frame sliders I ordered off Amazon I believe and here is a link - amzn.to/3uSDoDV . Hope that helps and thank you for the question, sorry for the late reply.
@@leemsadventures1007 Awesome! I am about to schedule mine on Monday! Grats on getting that done! Would love to hear your thoughts on the bike now that you have some miles on it! Take care!
yeah on the 636 I can have both seats off in about 5 seconds with zero tools. While I appreciate Kawi sticking with the tool-less design, this is the worst seat I've personally had to deal with... I'd much rather have to pull a couple bolts then use this system. That little plastic piece will get worn in time not to mention super scratched up...already is honestly. I think they could have done better here. Thanks man for the comment and hopefully see you on the road soon!!!
RIGHT!!?? dumbest design I've ever seen. really shouldn't be that hard for any bike in my opinion. the whole rear end in fact is difficult to work on frankly! thanks though M-T for the feedback!!
