Jeremiah's words are as courageous as he was with his character. He has had a very strong, very intimate and understanding of God’s call. For him, only a voice, and a touch was enough to convict him to surrender his desires to God's will . Jeremiah knew that he was not on the losing side because the Lord was with him like a mighty warrior. God would deal effectively, in his own way and time, with his enemies. He was certain God's presence was with him for God has already told him, "Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you, to deliver you, says the Lord.” Jeremiah's pain for his people is immense. He holds them in his heart, delivered the message of warning and ultimately of hope to a people who have lost faith in God and in one another. He suffers with them , for them and because of them. It was love for the lost that compels Jeremiah to endure all sufferings , desiring that the people repent and return to God. Like Jeremiah , we have been given a message from God to give to this world that it doesn’t like to hear. A message that says - man is sinful before a holy God and that God had to send His own sinless Son to die on the cross in our place. Jeremiah escaped death. Jesus embraced it. Jeremiah said to the officials, ‘my life is in your hands’ and they set him free. Jesus said to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane - ‘my life is in your hands’ and he wasn’t set free. Jesus wants you to be free - free from all your attempts to justify yourself or earn your approval. He was declared guilty that you might be declared innocent. He died that you might live . The gospel message is “foolishness to those who are perishing” but it’s the only message by which we are saved. We are to be faithful to go out into this world and speak it, and live it out , and be not afraid of those who oppose us. Though Judah rejected God, there was one intercessor , Jeremiah who cried for mercy . Today, the world rebels against God and has turned its back on Him , still , there is One Mediator between sinners and God- our Lord , Jesus Christ ! In Christ, the justice of God was fully satisfied and the misery of man fully cured. The infinite value of the blood of Christ is sufficient to satisfy God, even for those who were His enemies. As Christ stood between God and us, so out of thankfulness we should stand between all His enemies and God. Though evil men may spatter His name with mud, our Lord will take it, and wipe it clean, and give it back to us again. When you experience His love for you it melts your heart. You begin to see things like He sees and to give up those things you don’t want to give up . You know He’s transforming you into His likeness, and there’s no one as beautiful as Him. A transformed life is a living proof of the power of the gospel message....

謝謝分享，看聖經，改變自己 聖經是神的話語，是我們要去聽看聖經，聖經神的話語那是恩典 自然改變，不要在曠野一直打轉 就是看你不懂，聽了講道不了解 看聖經心思意念進入聖經的話語 好像參與那個年代，聖靈自然告訴你，完全了解聖經的內容，不管何時何地神的話語都會出現在你的心思意念，這是聖靈天天在你身上動工，自然就改變自己，神的話語都是恩典，領受恩典何等甘甜，感謝讚美主阿門

我一直不知道要從聖經的哪一篇看起，而我只有一看聖經就會打瞌睡可是我每次聽牧師分享的時候一直提到月曆嗎不知道是不是神透過牧師叫我看耶利米這篇開始感謝主阿門著寇牧師身體健康阿門
