as a Thai, i can say that tip is not always, just depending on kind of service - having massage 1 hr. you may give 50 baht is enough, if 2 hours may be 50-100 baht, this is everage Thai people do too. - Every restaurant at shopping mall, don't need to give tip, but you can give some if you think they did good service, maybe 20-50 baht is everage local give or if you pay cash and they give you change, you can leave it to them if you want, normally 20-50 baht, but please remember this is not necessary, just your preference. - Street food restaurant, don't need to tip. - House keeping or doorman in hotel, i'm not sure but as myself will give 100 baht one time on the last day of staying in hotel for house keeping if they did great, but if you stay 1-2 day, don't need.
