Indian Classical artists and MBF Producers Cassius Khan and Amika Kushwaha introduce Chef Rhonda Larrabee, Chief of the Qayqayt First Nations, on whose lands New Westminster lives, works and play on. Chief Larrabee blesses the festival and welcomes all on her lands. Erin Jeffery of the Massey Theatre also gives a short welcome.
