Have the 2022 Brutale (Diolene) and had major discomfort on the inner ankle bone depsite heat molding using all techniques possible. Felt like the liner padding had completely collapsed/compressed in that area after only few sessions. Turns out i read that Adapt had acknowledged the fact that the new liner piece wasnt as padded as the integrate liner before. They corrected this in late 2022 - i bought new replacement liner and it was a game changer. I'm now on 2 or 3 months of riding these and all my pain is gone, i finally understand the "slipper" effect everyone was talking about and love them now (but still for the price a bit frustrating original liner/padding wasn't to expectation).

Forgot to mention that your original adapt reviews made me buy the skates in the first place, 'cause I thought I was gonna get the same steeze as you, turns out I'm just old and stiff 😅. Love the channel, great to have you back !

Really enjoyed this review. I like to watch reviews as I do reviews on my channel. Didn't adapt change from carbon to diolene with the intent to make the skates more flexy due to complaints about stiffness? This may explain the sloppy feeling that you experienced.

Thanks. I too watch other reviews to make sure I don’t say the same thing. I don’t believe the switch to diolene is what made them feel floppy because my JBah’s are also diolene.

They also raised height of new toe box maybe from issues caused with the new padding. I want the fromms but hesistant now if they are less comfortable I love the padding on my 2020 brutales

@BLADINGonTheBrain the fit alone seals it for me.. finally having a boot with zero heel lift does wonders for confidence.. .my only gripe is the size of the sole plates... (skated m12s for too long I'm guessing).. but no one needs that much sole space 😆 😄

Funny that you find the adapt soleplate small. I get it though, no heel wing. I agree , when they fit, they’re amazing. Total control. Glad you’re enjoying them.

@BLADINGonTheBrain nah... I find the adapt soul plate to be way too big... I'm old, don't need all that room to tangle... about to shave them down. (The negative is way too big).. ha
