No there isn't. I have a 2023 RS3 and just changed my key battery. Just press the tab, pull the metal key out and then steps are as per this video. Only tool you need is a small screwdriver.
@@luciussander8217 this is not the correct process. Jaming a screw driver into the cover is going to damage the plastics. Remove the metal key, insert the screw driver about 1/2" into the hole and pry up until you hear a "pop." Look at timestamp 0:23 where it shows the top of the backside of the bettery cover. There is a plastic standoff (tab) that extends down into the key hole. Actually, at timestamp 0:22 the OP has the end of the metal screwdriver touching this part on the cover. That is the place you're trying to pry up. Audi hasn't made it very easy to find this, so it takes a few tries to get under it. That is the official process.
@@DanSimon All of this is nice and well but I heard more cracks trying with my screwdriver inside the key than displayed on the video. On the video is the only one that worked as well. There are three different versions of this same fob key for whatever reason. One has the pry up inside till it pops like you explain, one has a side clip push inside the key and both of these methods did not work at all. This method on video did
