At the 2022 Air Show at Nellis Air Force Base known as “2022 Aviation Nation”. This was my first time traveling to the West Coast to see an Air Show in person and Nellis Air Force Base was a very good choice!!
The USAF & Air Combat Command’s Aerial Demonstration Team’s take to the skies. They are the F-35A Lightning II Demo Team (388th Fighter Wing - Hill AFB, UT) flown by Capt. Kristin "BEO" Wolfe, the F-22 Raptor Demo Team (1st Fighter Wing - Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, VA) flown by Maj. Joshua “Cabo” Anderson (his final team tour), and the P-51D Mustang in the USAF Heritage Flight flown by Tommy Williams.
Note: While the F-22 Demo Team are from the 27th FS of Joint Base Langley-Eustis, this particular aircraft utilized by the team here actually belongs to the 422d Test & Evaluation Squadron based right here at Nellis AFB.
2nd Note: Cabo's celebration of his last tour with the demo team with getting hosed down and blasting open some champaign bottles is in the next video during the T-33 "Ace Maker" Shooting Star aerobatic performance.
