Michael White 🤣. I saw that formation with an A-1 skyraider, P-51,F-22,and F-16. I think the F-16 demo pilot was worn out. It’s hard flying that slow in a modern jet.

It was probably loaded with blanks, cause the GAU-8 is literally the whole reason the A-10 is as legendary as it is. Doing an airshow like this and _not_ having the A-10 fire the GAU-8 would be the same as not having the A-10 at all.

Love it! In 2006 they did a diamond formation at Hill Airforce base except it was the P51 Mustang, F22, F18 Super Hornet and an F4 Fantom. The A10 is one cool plane. It survives war and the government.

-- Ha ha! Listen to that! You can hear that Merlin engine roaring over all the jets! I took my daughter up in a 51D for her second birthday. The moment I turned that thing over she started crying. Once we got in the air she was standing standing on me, face plastered to the canopy the entire time. Ah, two of the best aircraft ever built. The Mustang and the A-10.

I know I'm late but seeing the p-51 mustang fly with its grand kids is just cool i mean the a10 warthog is the legendary tank destroyer. The f22 is the second most stealth jet to ever exist. And the rookie aka the f35 is just so cool seeing them fly together
