I have an AC Schnitzer,stealth end can. The exhaust sound is amazing and makes me smile every ride.

@@DrChrisStout Just to say I had installed a short exhaust similar in style but the trouble was it sounded great,but because it was so short the noise became an uncomfortable drone in my ears.The longer silencer takes that away from you therefore more comfortable journeys,and your ears don't take a pounding from high decibels. That's my learning experience.

Thanks, I think so too. Not too loud, more throat-y that stock Akrapovič, and I like the looks as well. The guys that make them are super.

Thanks very much. I did have a GoPro video of my first scenic/long ride, but alas had too many post-production technical issues. I'll soon be shooting an updated walkaround, specs and modifications piece. Stay tuned!

Changed my stock can for a SC Project. I love the sound when the idle is normal but man does it sound obnoxious on a cold start.. I hate that part. It's hard to cope with in a quiet neighbourhood.

Nice. It is really tough to get a good exhaust note out of the BMW 1200 boxers. The Werkes slip ons do the best job on them IMO. I had Kalinskis (from Poland) on a 1200C and they were outstanding, even with the C's notoriously detuned output. Really wish they would make them for the nineT. I'm really considering a 2/2 mod though.

I agree. I'm happy with Werkes. I tried to do a flapper delete and found out it's not possible on a 2022, so that was too bad. If you go to new headers you'll have a lot more options. Enjoy!

I have the 21 White and Gold Option 719 and have removed the baffles with a Dremel. I think I will eventually get this exhast too, not just because of the sound but also because the akropovic covers up so much of the wheel and I got a spoked single swing-arm because it looks good. I want to be able to see and access the wheel.

I agree, the look with more wheel showing, while seemingly subtle, really does make for an improved, overall appearance from the left side of the bike.

Exhaust sounds and looks great, you should order the Wheel chock bike grab from Quasar, they have dealers in North America, you can use it on front and rear wheel, adjust it in minutes to roll into back or front wheels and has a large foot print, so no fear of blipping thottle on boxers engines as it holds bike firmly, cost UK £100 or $130 US

Thanks. And FYI to all, I trued to order a "flipper" valve delete tube and the proper electronics to avoid a system fault on my dash/gauges, and the good-guys at Pier City ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OYbod3fwSHg.html cancelled my order as you seemingly cannot do this to a 2022 R nineT. Reminded me of the hassle I had with the Akrapovič and the formally simple eliminator removal in

Hello there, thank you for the video. I have a 22 and it is my understanding that you cannot do a flap delete on 21+ bikes. It requires a full header system removing both cat and flap valve. Im contemplating it myself. Any info you have would be great. thanks

Hey Andy, yes indeed. It's not obnoxious, which seem befitting. But it does get attention, and is a wee bit reminiscent of my Ducati Monster show bike. Cograts, you will fall in love.

how do you find the OEM rear spring? Not too crappy? Planning to put on Aka Ti headers and lose the cat?

Greetings @hgm8337, thanks for your question. I'd say the OEM shock is OK for me and the way I ride it in my area (Door County Wisconsin). Having said that, I have not bothered to monkey with trying out various adjustments, and (someday) I hope to have my wife along for a ride, so I may tweak it, and if/when I do, I'll make a video and post it. As for headers, no not yet. Here's my reasoning for my situation - I don't want to risk futzing up the warranty, I love the bluing that has started on the originals, I'm not familiar with the ones you mentioned (post a link for us all here to take a looksee), and in 2025 I plan on building a track/LSR project, so I'm pretty much done spending on this project. Thanks!

It is open/straight-through. A "DB killer" is an optional addition/in, that I did not order. The slip-on, itself, does have drilled holes internally, if that makes sense. Hope this helps? If not, ping me again. Best wishes.

@@petermiller8634 You bet, happy to. I don't find it too loud. In fact, I tried to purchase a flapper delete tube and fault-fixer, but learned that it would not be possible for a 2022. I know this is a bit of personal taste, but I sure favor it over stock, and I don't find it too loud. Also, I *think* you can add the dB killer pretty easily should that be more to what you'd prefer. Hope that's helpful.

Is this exhaust road legal in the EU/Germany?

I would think so as I did not change any other parts of the exhaust system (i.e., flapper, catalytic converter, ECU) and while a bit more robust than the stock Akrapovics, they are not obnoxiously loud.
