For those people that live in the UK, specifically London. This is one of the very few SUV’s that are ULEZ compliant even with its 3L engine. It’s very quick, smooth, reliable, economical, big enough for a family of four and understated. It’s one of the very best SUV’s you can buy in terms of practically. I’ve owned one for three years now and would buy another. Easily beats my previous car, the Range Rover Sport in terms of economics, reliability and performance but perhaps not on kudos.
I was deciding on the X4 vs the X6 (US version) when trading in my 440. I wanted the X6 but ultimately wanted to save the $20k and I’m absolutely thrilled. The engine in the 2022 X4M is beautiful.
Im thinking the same almost. Got the G31 540i , and i want to have a SUV now, X6 was my number one option, but im thinking more and more about the LCI X4 (M40i)
@@MikaelKock-dq4cx if I could, I would have went with the M40i just because it’s $10k less than the one I’m leasing now. But, well, if you’ve been in checking out the dealerships, you’ll know that there are supply issues. I waited a LONG 8 months but it was worth it. Good luck and happy hunting!
Matt. Thank You. I sat behind an X4 M Sport in a long line of traffic. And, yes the rear profile is the best angle of the overlooked X4. [The C Pillar a little awkward should we say? Don't 'get' the SUV Coupe 'thing, but again as you say, ''niche''. As its place and the X4 is certainly up there. Better than other German rivals for sure. [No names needed!] Cheers.
I've had the G20 and right after that the X4. I would never go back to a sedan. We could have chosen the X5 but we decided to go for new X4 next. It is a perfect car. Today i stood next to a Urus with my X4 and besides the popcorn start of the Urus, i could not see any difference that would apply to me. It has enough power for me, i do not need more. It is not a show off car, it is best normal car i have ever had. And i have to admit i like the previous model also in terms of beauty.

Good for you bro.. I want one but its just a little bit pricey for me. I can afford it If i sell of some of my portfolio wich maybe isnt the greatest idea... lol.. Maybe car prices Will drop back to normal soon. I can hope at least. Good for you though bruh, im really 100% jealous.
Also how long did they tell you? It seems like a win win to order one for the dealer as it wont occupy space but I know dealers are taking advantage of the shortage.
@@carlotamez9976 Hi Carlo, yeah I negotiated relatively hard and used quotes from other dealers - I’m in the UK and they knocked about £3000 off in the end. Normal delivery timescales from now would be September/October but I was lucky and a customer who ordered in September ‘21 cancelled and I took over the build slot - expected delivery is June ‘22
Hey, I have one ordered as well! 30-40 day wait time but it’s manufactured in my state. I was a little bit hesitant, I’ve owned a X6 which was pure hell when it reached over 60k miles but my 3 series was great with maintenance. I love this design. My dealer just gave a 2k discount from the MSRP. Since most have to be ordered they are selling everything at MSRP.
I'vw had my X4 for a year and a half now and I can confirm with a small child, this car is stylish, practical and built with pure quality. I would highly recommend. My cars also ULEZ compliant despite it being a diesel. If you're thinking of buying one, i would highly recommend this car.
I was informed by BMW that black grill for 2022 x4 is not available, i requested shadow line but still- they installed silver one supported with that argument. How is this possible? M Sport ofc.
I would double check with other dealerships. I was told repeatedly that because of supply chain issues and the pandemic that X4’s aren’t coming equipped with ambient lighting. That wound up being wrong.
I placed my order in August for the Shadowline package. At some point before the vehicle went into production, the Shadowline package was removed because of the shortage. Once i received the vehicle, I purchased an aftermarket grille and was able to install myself.
How is it that only Jeremy C and co can do exciting car rewiews. I know, I know they are more about entertaining then objektive facts.. still, they are unmatched imo.. I fall asleep to everyone else.. dont take me wrong. I really apreciate this review, I just couldnt help to think about top gear when I watched this and just couldnt help to make a post about it.
