I fell in love with the 195 watching Curtis’ show, The Aviators, a few years back. Now, I’m the proud owner of a Cessna 195… in Flight Sim 2020, but it feels so real. Glad to see he’s still involved in aviation!
We had two 195s based at the airport where I worked in the tower. I liked calling traffic, telling someone to follow the Business Liner on final. The pilots seemed to get a kick out of that.
My cousin owned that yellow and white 195 at one time. It was an N registration at the time. It was the plane for which I had my first flight when I was very young in the early 70's. I remember it was BIG and there was no way I could see over that instrument panel. 😁
This brings back great memories. When I was a teenager (about 35 years ago), a good family friend owned a Cessna 195 (N195BG) and took me and my best friend up in it a few times. It was also the first and only GA plane my mom ever flew in. She came with us once and got to sit right seat and have a go at the controls for a few minutes while we were over UC Davis.
Look, it comes down to this: White men should only ever be allowed to dance *ONCE.* With their daughters at their wedding reception. And of course with their wives at their own reception. That’s it!
DON'T FORGET THE CESSNA 195 THAT CRASHED IN THE TRINITY MOUNTAINS, CALIFORNIA DURING WINTER WHERE 3 PEOPLE STARVED TO DEATH IN 1967. NO ONE COULD FIND THEM UNDER THE SNOW. MIRACULOUSLY THEY LIVED 2 MONTHS IN THE PLANE AND MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR LOCATOR BEACONS TO BE PUT IN ALL PLANES. READ ABOUT IT IN "FINDING CARLA"!!!!!!
