2022 CF Moto 800 trail with Perfex 2" lift kit, and 28" tires

This SxS was bought with the main purpose to plow with. The trail version is great with the 50" stance, for fitting in between trees to push snow out further. Taking it on trails also allows greater access through gates. However, the clearance height is around 9" even with the ex model 60" wide. So, in this video a 2"lift and 2" bigger tires plus 1.5" wheel spacers give you a 53" stance with 13" clearance, But the best thing is it will transform your little stubby trail into a different league, kind of a razor look but more than half the cost.

Turn your shock preloads about 10 turns down to get more ground clearance

It would be interesting to see a measurement across the width of the machine, to the outside edge of the tires, to see if the spacers pushed wheels out past 50".

With the spacers it about 53" ...its hard to get exact measurements

I have a 800 trail with same lift kit , Thinking of adding 1.5 wheel spacers plus. 28in tires did you have to reclock the clutch

How do you like your 800? I really like the honda 520-dump bed. 50" Hondas 700 is over 50" and the 1000 is too large for my needs. But I see your 800 50" has me looking at your 800. I like the 50" trails also. So how is the performance matched to the honda?? I know the 800 with the street legal kit for street licensing is a big plus.. do you think your sxs for dependability is equal or better than the Hondas reputation??? Maybe you'll give us a review down the trail sometime? Thanks. Be well and healthy.. Toledo.

This is my 1st side-by-side so I have nothing to compare it to but it's cheaper than All the other brands . Time will tell and maybe I will do a review later on down the road

@@JLafix Thanks for responding back... That review would be greatly appreciated. Your video came into my orbit back when your mercury grand marquis engine was giving you a problem. You had the camera set up, you started the engine and I witnessed that ( little prick ) shooting out of the drivers side of the engine!!! I haven't heard that expression in years, I truly laughed my a$$ off. I've clicked on your videos ever since. I too have a mercury grand marquis, light green also. Best darn car, always started even -20° one year. Just very reliable !! Thank you. Toledo.

I haven't noticed anything but I use this thing maybe twice a year so not really gonna know it's anything Plus I did this when the vehicle was brand new so I have nothing to compare it to .

Have you gone back to nh? I live in nh and have a 21 trail, it does great, but yes needs a little more clearance, I’ve herd if you add bigger tires you gotta do a clutch kit, did you do one?

I did go back no problem cleared every thing, and no I didn't clutch it have no intention of clutching it because there's no need to as far as my opinion goes.

No rubbing at all, but I did have to put a few turns on the tie rod to adjust the toe

None. It's just like 3 inches taller but also a couple of inches wider

They are called kenda bear claw HTR size is AT28 by 11R14 In the rear and the same kinda bare claw HTR tire in the front except it's 28 by 9 by 14
