@Mctrician2 it was 2014 out of warranty. 2 oil leaks, various sensors going bad, interior items breaking (glove box latch, knobs etc…) and a complete overhaul of the brake system including a new booster and master cylinder at only 60K miles. My old 2003 Silverado was bulletproof by comparison.

@@Rhinopuddles44 I have rebuilt all of them engines and transmissions and frames and I am speaking from experience, not RU-vid trash talk because u got a bad one, hell all vehicles have a couple bad ones, that's just life, change the oil the valve cover gaskets put the right plugs in and good breaks and change the sensors when they go, get them from a bone yard a 10th of the price and yes they are good and you should be fine. All you need to do is stay away from the dealer they are the biggest con artist in the auto world ask any mechanic that don't work there. It's all $$$ with them and they will lie to your face but as always so will so.e Mechanic's either way when you have had as many vehicles as I have? Then your opinion is much more valid beyond a rant and rave my friend, answer to that question is way over 250 they should have stuck with steam or having tucker make them all .

@@themaximusone the dealer I went to undercut the auto shops in my area by a good margin as far as price goes. I shopped around quite a bit before pricing at the dealer because I’m not a f**king idiot. Like I said my 2003 Silverado was amazing and when I asked the lead mechanic at the dealership why the newer models where so bad he told me they started using cheaper parts after the 2008 government bailout. He was upfront about how crappy the quality had become. I have a 2018 Tundra with zero issues so I’m good. If I want to rebuild sh*t I’ll buy another Chevy. 😐

Same here, I had the ‘17 midnight edition 4x4 with a leveling kit. Put some 33x12.50 tires on it. Loved it, got tons of compliments, blacked out everything, no chrome anywhere. It was sick. Now I have a ‘22 z71 trail boss. Upgrade is good.

Refresh means that the former generation will be less in price. The custom trail boss is cheaper but has less tech and comfort stuff. It's a truck truck

High demand for trucks and low supply. Just look at the used truck prices.

Even the OEM parts are a problem. When Manufacturers go with the cheapest bid.. the consumer suffers.

Yeah, at least the LEDs in 2022 should be a standard safety item and not a luxury, it's just bulb.

I guess I’ve been fortunate. I bought a new 6.2 trail boss lt. At 8k miles and no issues at all. Would never sell it.

are you talking about the arm rest itself or under the middle front seat? My understanding was there is not storage under the middle seat in the custom trail boss

@@nealsleeper5586 I mean the seat itself. I have a 2015 and I thought it carried over to the new ones because they have the same seats… guess they took that away.

It's a traillboss. Smaller wheels are better for off roading

You can get a fully optioned luxury car for that yet Chevrolet wants you to pay that based on the fact that it's a truck

I could get a brand new Honda Ridgeline black edition for 46k and get LED lights tri zone climate built in Navi leather awesome speakers and black rims. Or I could get this for 50k with halogen lights manual climate no Navi cloth seats bad speakers and black rims. Hm. Which would I get? Heh obvi the honda

Nope. They got rid of that disaster on most of them. Problem is, they still have that idiotic auto start/stop engine thing but you can get bypasses for that.

The new interior is coming early next year

The refresh interior that comes out in the spring looks much better. 13 in infotainment and 12 in dash display. Very nice look them up..

I wouldn’t consider anything Ram aka fiat 😂
