Sounds really deep with straight pipes, but it would be cool if it had another exhaust pipe at the right like it has at the left if you ask me

It sounds that way because it's a single and 3.5". No need to make a fake dual like they all do now. Hemi Rams for example are single 3" but after the muffler are split into two 2.25"

Yes you should, cast iron block no AFM/DFM, 3.85 STROKE, potentially can be bored to 7.0 L. A very powerful engine, the best that GM had made in years

My cousin has a 6.6 gasser and and he has a borla attak system with duals and I can guarantee you his neighbors hate him, me personally know a good exhaust when I hear it and it sounds real nice

Could you put a whipple on a 6.6? Iv seen whipple has came out with a 3.0 l supercharger and I’m asking because I’m thinking about getting the new 2024 Silverado HD gas with the 6.6 in it. If not I’ll just go duramax

Did you just remove muffler? If so, that isnt straight pipe, you have 3 cats in there. Still sounds good tho.

Don't get rid of your Ram! A much better truck for real! Those Hemi engines are something truly special! I have an '03 Hemi 5.7 and I'll get rid of it when it's totaled or it's rotted into the ground.

Oh no. Hell No. This is still way too quiet. Sounds no different than a stock Chevy S10, and that's a damn shame 🙄Owner should have just run open manifolds, which is hands down the best setup and provides the best possible back pressure, and improved tire pressure and suspension travel on these 2022 Chevy Silverado 6.6L's.

Open headers provide minimal back pressure, some engines require some back pressure to make good power

I liked my 2500 straight piped. I ended up putting a flowmaster 50 series delta flow to tame it a bit because I tow.

Chevys are just awfully quiet in general due to how many converters they have but hey they save tons of gas so I don’t blame them however I would’ve ran duals with no resonators to make it sound way louder or deeper could just be me though

He doesn’t have the capability to bend pipe bigger than 3 inch at his shop. That’s not good because he bottlenecked the exhaust

Do you really think that 3" pipe is choking it more than that restrictive muffler? I think it probably helps the backpressure and doesn't loose any low end power. It is not obnoxiously loud and sounds really good! Especially for for about 50$

@@robertgray4942 No, but I think a 3” pipe is more restrictive than a 3.5” pipe. Also back-pressure has been proven to be null and void when it comes to making power and drivability.
