We looked at this trailer but the 224 Jayco was such a slamming deal at 19,995 that we couldn't turn it down. Granted they had the 17B for 6k less, the quality difference was enormous and so was features.

It's incredible how cheaply these things are built now. Our 2020 Forest River FSXBH was made much nicer with fiberglass sides and a full 7 CF fridge that was once the standard in most RVs. The FSX series isn't the best quality but what a difference a few years make in appointments. and still cheaper than today's prices.

I would take out the bunks and replace it with a 2 seat dinette with a fold up table bolted to the wall. Then i would replace the 4 seat dinette with an Ikea Couch.

Don't get your fry pan too close to those plastic knobs. Have not found replacement knobs yet. Bring your own canopy. Those short canopies don't provide much shade. Why bother with it. What happened to the standard 16-foot canopies?

Soap and water. You can have a water and soap container in there with some hand sanitizer.

Starter camper! Who ever buys this will quit camping! How come they don’t put a window on the front? 1 propane tank? Can’t put a fold down sink in the bathroom? Wall unit ac? A frig that small is good enough for maybe 3 days. I would rather find an older trailer. They built them better. And last longer.

Wouldn't recommend it. I towed a camper a little bit smaller than this with a Chysler Town and Country with the 3.6 liter V6 and it struggled. Minivans aren't designed to be tow vehicles so you'd be wearing out your brakes, your transmission, drive train and everything else.

I got news for you. All new campers are made as cheaply and as quickly as possible so they can get them on the lot and sold as soon as possible. Almost all of them are made in the same plant in Indiana.

All manufacturers put out varying levels of build quality. The build quality of this is on par with any entry level line. Longevity I believe has more to do with maintenance than anything else.

Points at one 20 lb tank says two tanks! LOL. Fridge, no freezer and no side hanging closet at the foot of the bed? Wow that thing looks cheap. I have the Springdale mini 1750 RD 2020 with more features and a sink in the bathroom. All for under 15k new. To be fair with todays inflation my model runs 20k now. Still doesn't look as cheap.

Coleman are cheap aimed at first time campers on a budget. They are not great in terms of overall quality compared to some of the pricier brands but you get what you pay for. I think its a great entry RV especially this model for a small family. If you have the habit of getting in and out of new vehicles are things, maybe opt for this. I hate having to trade anything and I like to keep things for a long time so I spent a bit more on my first trailer.

@@DanielWraps I've been trying to get out of habit of holding on to things. My wife being y'all don't let me about it , so I also been just trying to buy top notch things since I'm going to hold on to it. Even when it came to my motorcycle I was going to buy the base model Kawasaki versus 1000 but my wife told me you like to hold on to things for two damn long. Get the best one they got so I did. It was hard for me to do it but after I did it I'm happy I made a decision to go big but don't break the bank though

Long distance cross country towing like you said?? Forget. This cheap quality trailer flexes so much while towing you'll have a lot of problems. Don't say I didn't warn ya!

Try running that lil thing all day in August in Texas, and you might think again about making such a ludicrous statement. Good video though, I really appreciate seeing that the shower is so short. Thanks for all the info. Worried that 30 wont me enough power for my computer.

Just go to coleman's rv website and look at the layout of it where specs are also listed. Research will take less time than waiting for an answer.

Paid 9950 in 2020. They are straight up ripping peeps off now. At 10k i feel we got a decent deal. Absolutely ridiculous for any more. Inflation is just another word for corporate greed. I can see 12k now, maybe. Where is the stereo system though. Cheap bastahads.

If it is only corporate greed you (or anyone) can start a company and undercut them. Then prices will come down. But if no one does in this highly competitive portion of the market, it proves wasn't only corporate greed.
