2022 Craft Room Tour Junk Journal Supplies 

Wow, as much as I love looking at Pinterest pictures of the same version of craft rooms (white IKEA drawers) this is truly a crafter's room! You've actually upcycled and transformed so many items, it's really inspiring and I admire your creativity.

I have been a crafter all of my life. I inherited the love of crafting from my mother. I think I have done all types of crafting. I started scrapbooking then card making about 12 years ago. I had a beautiful well stocked ikea craft room. I had gotten very sick. Didn’t go out to my craft room which was in our two car garage for about 2 months. Unbeknown we had a flood. Furniture destroyed, machines destroyed, mold on pretty much everything. Almost everything was destroyed. I think I cried for a week yes insurance reimbursed for a great deal. I lost my mojo!! I started buying and decided to downsize to my daughters old bedroom. My husband was then diagnosed with cancer. I kept ordering he passed a year later still ordering. Have not set up a craft room have boxes upon boxes of stuff. I decided I didn’t need a IKEA room. I have bought from flea markets and yard sales for storage. Probably spent about $7000 on crafts still couldn’t get my mojo. You have inspired me to start working on my room thank you so much!!

This lady literally has a virtual craft store in her craft room. Very nice! I feel green with envy! 😅. Mine is a total work in progress but this is quite inspiring.❤

I think convenience and working in a place you enjoy is much more important than having a sterile fancy artvstudio. But I like them too. I like my room more organic.

I just found you. I love your craft room. It is totally my style. Great ideas for storage. my craft space is a loft so everything is conveniantly close. I use decorative boxes for storage which I have been collecting for 30 years so is very colorfull in there. All my furniture is vintage as well except for one cabinet with drawers from hobby lobby. I enjoy your tour so much I felt like a kid in a candy store. So many goodies 🤩Great job!

Thanks so much for sharing! You have given me some great ideas for organizing my craft room! I recently more into my middle daughters (former) bdrm, she move out on her own ! I have collected quit a few heavy boxes that reams of copy papers come in. I have in mind to repurpose them for storage of my craft supplies. You have inspired me to get going on it! I love craft room tours like yours. It is because i can relate to this kind of a craft room. The IKEA rooms are beautiful but too sterile for me. My room looks a lot like yours but now i just have to organize like you did. Right now stuff is all over the place. Thank you very much for this

My room is fairly small and I do have to use every inch the best way possible. To some it may look crowded but I am too a visual person and need to see what I have in order to use it.

Letter tiles for ransom notes 😂 - love your space and your sense of humor. It’s important not to take ourselves too seriously! You’ve done an amazing job repurposing everyday items for storage. I love your vintage tins and jars. They got me reminiscing about my childhood and my grandmother’s kitchen 🥰 I swear I saw a skippy (or was it jif) peanut butter jar with the yellow lid! So cool.

I just found you so don't know if you will see this but l have really enjoyed this. I have been overwhelmed with my little room and all my stuff. I have a twin bed in my room too for when one of our kids comes home or we have a guest stay the night. So I have to put stuff under the bed. I run out of work space! Lol

You have an amazing collection of things to work with! Good job getting it organized. I have a weakness for collecting and repurposing beautiful boxes and bottles too. When I began crafting again I said I was not going to buy supplies… just use what I have on hand and I enjoyed crafting much more than after I started purchasing and collecting supplies I had to manage. It’s a balancing act, like you said. TFS!!

Whoa, Kelly! You have done an outstanding job organizing your craft room! The ribbon area and wooden stamp are are so cool! I do think we all feel better when we keep like things together and know where most things are, regardless of the sq, feet of our crafting space. TFS this with us. I picked up a tip or two! 💕💕

I am definitely a craft supply collector, it's so fun. But you're right, it can get overwhelming. I started some organizing but I have a long way to go. I dont have just one room, so I use 2, my husband asks, do we need to move to a bigger house with bigger rooms? He has a big train room for building and running trains, so he understands. Thanks for a lot of tips. Enjoyed the tour. Very cool room. I have napkins and playing cards coming out of everywhere.
