I've jumped off that cliff. You can get to it for free from your boat on lake Travis. Or you can go to the State Park that has camping and hike over to the spot instead. The height of the jump can be huge or not so huge depending on the height of the water in the lake at the time. That big rock in the water above the boat (right at the beginning of the video) is a fun spot to jump from too. At the time of this contest the lake level was approximately 638 feet, when it's full it's 681 feet. You can see the high water mark on the rock by the boat and on the cliff behind it. Had they held this contest at the end of the year the jump would have been another 10 feet higher....

Realisticly, what would beat a triple backflip here?

I'm not an expert, but some landings was way off, even one in the top 4. Beans landing was perfect! Think there should be more rules for the landing alone, most of the competitors had a different approach than the other in that aspect. This sport is super fun to watch, wish I learned this 20 years ago! :P Off to more Death Dive videos!!
