The LaFerrari on 2021 Cup 2 R or Trofeo R tyres would be quicker. Keep in mind that it was tested on P Zero Corsas in 2013 and it was only 0.7'' slower. Still, the SF90 Stradale is an amazing machine, breaking lap records left and right.
Road cars aren't meant for lap times. No matter what the Nurburgring tries to convey in its lap board, a road car is not the same thing as a race car. Most race cars don't have "the emotion!" of an E46 or S2000, because they're meant to be weapons of war set on a very well calculated and technical task. A good road car needs to be different.

@@FenderUsa yeah it's a Ferrari that Ferrari HAD to do because of Electro motor rules and honestly for that price and performance they have no competition on the market. And this must be the only Ferrari focused on speed on a straight line instead of track, when brands like McLaren and co tried to build a "Carrer" on this. So don't come for Ferrari..
That SF90 in that finish is the most perfect looking car I've seen. But the 40000 gbp cost is a bit too much for a small upgrade. The basic model is already really good.
This is Ferrari's first go at a general production hybrid, and it's indeed mind blowing, but wait 5 years as they evolve and perfect the tech...it will be otherworldly
I can, it was only 0.7 seconds faster around Fiorano on much stickier tires. I bet if you put the LaFerrari on Cup 2 Rs it would be much faster. Weight is the enemy of speed, the LaFerrari has basically the same power but weighs almost 1,000 pounds less and chassis engineering hasn't changed that much in the last 7 years.
@@flacjacket you can check on fasteslaps other tracks results, top gear 3s faster, anglesey coastal 1s, on other tracks is faster than mclaren senna and porsche 918spyder which are both faster than laferrari

Fun when you think a 1700kg sportscar is heavy. Now we have EV and they are fat, under 2000kg seems pretty difficult.. :(...Sad future of fat EV to come :)
it's not a limited edition car so you don't need to be in the Ferrari vip list, but the production is already sold out for the next two years and the waiting list will be long

How do you know? Have you driven one? In a 3 day test on the roads of Scotland the SF90 finished a resounding last of 8 cars in EVO Magazines Car of the Year group test.
It is not a fantastic machine it is electric assisted with 3 motors. This car is heavy awd and has zero sound. I wouldn’t even think twice about taking a laferrari over this. I’d take any Ferrari over this over priced electric car
