I have couple of EVs and an R35 GT-R, and it's horses for courses. The Tesla and my Note Nismo are brilliant daily cars, but for fun driving the R35 is definitely superior, it has far more interactivity and feedback and it is much more exciting. The GT-R feels wasted in city driving though, and that's where an EV is by far a better choice.
This gtr would most likely be low 10s in the quartermile. No way an "average electric family car" would have a chance against it. Most average evs are around the mid 11s. High performance versions like the Plaid definitely would beat it but that's a top spec performance ev.
I wonder what the maximum power upgrade would be with the stock exhaust? I don’t really care for the loud exhaust systems that people typically install on the Nissan GTR’s. That dull trombone/flatulence sound is a bit unremarkable to my ears. Seems like all of the modern Nissan V6 engines sound like this when fitted with a sports exhaust.
I went for the X7 because it can do both calm wafty driving and somewhat sporty/engaging driving. The 7-seat implementation is the best there is... an actually usable 3rd row! The S68 engine is an absolute force of nature, it will do 4.3's 0-60 all day. They've improved most of the unintuitive iDrive features with v8.5 so thankfully its much more user-friendly now. Although I will still NEVER understand why BMW removed the cruise control distance setting buttons from the steering wheel and replaced them with NOTHING... could understand if they put something more important there, but to leave them blank is just STUPID
For people who don’t understand Alpina imagine having an F16 fighter jet and having an airbus A380 Alpina is the Concord muscle loads of power with comfort
Meh styling, the wheel arches aren't flared enough, doesn't look mean and muscular. Front looks very blocky. But mechanically and dynamically, yeah! What a car!
I'm maybe a lil bit biased here, but only if someone thinks this car and in this spec especially doesn't look like one of the most beautiful cars ever made, BUT this is the best car review, camera movement shot selection ever. WOW. The two first shots especially at 2:24 and all the b-roll during the guy talking. Man I just felt happy. Thank you! Best wishes grom Germany
If Jaguar would start making this car again with modern technology they would corner the market on sports cars! There is nothing like it anywhere! Enzo was correct…. It is the most beautiful car in the world! Jerry
Good to watch, my wife has a very well maintained mk5 GTI as a daily, sometimes I'm allowed to drive it. Its a standard 2006 5 door, her classic is for winter and farming use Golf mk2 Country Syncro. I love them both but she is VW golf mad. My daily is an Elise S2 1zz and my classic is a Lancia integrale evo2. The mk5 will never go, on the road it will out drag most cars, its incredibly comfortable, handles brilliantly and more than anyone could want. The GTI is the best all round every day car, before the integrale went to a stupid price this was the best everyday car. Not anymore. Buy a good mk5 GTI and you won't want for anything else.
The lefthand version of the 206 RC is miles better than the 306 GTI. Better brakes, better steering feel, better engine, more revy, more power, much better Recaros, less weight. The UK righthand versions are horrid, but the lefthand version runs rings around the 306.
Your forgetting one car...the 206 gti180..i like the 306 gti-6 but i love my 206 gti180 even more if you ever get the chance to drive a gti180..take it n trust me its fun to drive 😁
