This is currently my dream car! I’m excited that they’re making an electrified version too which has even more features that I feel the 2.5 advanced is missing. I think this engine and trim is the best for what I want vs price. Ahhhhh

Nice video and explanation! I have a quick question, does it have power folding side mirrors? I did read in the features that advanced model has power folding mirrors, wasn't sure it has?

Thank you! Yes the vehicle does have fully powered mirrors with a folding feature. Sorry I didn’t mention that in the video.

I have just bought the identical model apart from in Cardiff Green metallic. thoroughly satisfied so far. I have read a few reviewers stating rough auto engine off / on but my car has a butter smooth transition and hardly feel it. Wondering if you ever tried the auto self part into a perpendicular space of parallel parking ? Did it work ?

I just tried the auto self parking assist into both a perpendicular and a horizontal parking spot and it was amazingly accurate. It approximates space according to the surrounding vehicles, more than it does the lines that may be on the ground to designate the parking spot. All said, it's a great feature that works seamlessly - takes longer than a good driver would probably take, but not by much.

How is maintaining a cream/light interior cabin? Is it high maintennance? And how do you keep it looking clean? Thank you!

Maintaining this interior isn’t too bad, obviously it’s much harder than a black interior. I just use one wet microfiber towel and one dry towel and wipe off all surfaces. It works very well. Thanks for watching!

I have a Valentine One radar detector I would use if I got this car. It looks like there isn't a convenient auxiliary power outlet close to the dash. Is it ever a problem for you when driving?

It is a little annoying but I was able to feed the wire into the center console. Do you like the Valentine One? I have a Uniden R7.

Quality is very good. Crisp sound. The sound system itself isn’t very loud and bass isn’t that deep. Really loving the sound though.

I have a 2024 select aside from the lack of 360 surround view I would say it’s almost the exact same car also lacks the ambient lighting other than that I’m very happy to have saved a few thousand dollars

@@hollyheidt6841 my mom ended up buying the 2023 select gv70 and I can say it has enough options. Since it was a 23 it still had ventilated seats and the base sound system is solid too. She almost never drives at night so she didn’t feel bad about not getting the ambient lighting either. Which color did you gets yours in?

Great car, video ok. A couple of tips (constructive criticism), stop mentioning Hyundai when reviewing the Genesis, yes we all know the connection but it’s not a Hyundai vehicle…we want Genesis to get its own identity but by people continuing to bring up Hyundai it’ll never happen. Secondly do a little more research, nowhere does it ever mention MPG of 20/30, best you’ll ever see is 22/28 with an overall of 24+/-….yes it’s a minor thing but to give you a bit more credibility it’s best to be as accurate as possible. I’ve got ‘23 arriving 7/21, can’t wait….of course Genesis can’t give pricing or new vehicle updates yet, frustrating, but I do have a $2500 deposit on an inbound one.
